When will this irritating issue be resolved? I find it hard to believe that a funciton so necessary, that works on the desktop version, cannot and does not work on the iOS version. Having labels appear on emails in the inbox, either past or recently received filtered messages is truly necessary for successful organization.

When I opened up a chat, the representative gave me a helpful temporary fix, “Yes, the iOS version does not sync the labels unless you open the labels manually in the sidebar.”
    - But, as much as there is a temporary fix, I would expect an easy resolution to this matter. Perhaps a behind the scenes auto refresh or opening of all labels to help push them to the inbox? I am no software developer, but this error should be a relatively easy fix to put at ease a large collection of frustrated users.
