Yea, this would be helpful. I esoecially dislike that the iPad app always needs to have a message open. For example, it automatically opens the next email when I archive or delete something. This is a pain if I'm purposely leaving something unread.

To clarify, if there's a poorly formatted email in a thread, Airmail causes you to scroll all the way through the quotes and history of the chain before seeing the next new email in the thread. The up and down arrows jump to different conversations in the same mailbox - not the next message in the same thread.
This is a feature of iOS's Mail.app and I can definitely feel it missing in Airmail.

Yes, absolutely. This is a feature I'd love to see as well. I have many labels in my work account, but the same senders and keywords often go to the same labels. Some intelligence here would be much appreciated.

That's not exactly what I meant Steve. I meant that Airmail allows the user to create a custom action (which can be a sequence of actions), but the actions allowed to be lock screen shortcuts are only the built in actions.
For example, I want to be able to 3D Touch a notification on my lock screen and select a custom Action of "Mark as Read and Archive"
