    completely agree - this lack of functionality is almost debilitating, not to mention the time I wasted figuring out I could not do it.

  3. Why can't I expand conversations in the messages list, by clicking on the grey icon which displays the number of messages?

    agreed - i frequently delete single emails within a conversation to keep just those that are relevant
