I love Airmail, and I use it on all my platforms now (iOS, WatchOS, macOS) to great effect. That said, I'm starting to lose faith because of this one thing: The inability to refresh the inbox on the Watch component is a major stumbling block for me. FWIW, I'm really surprised that more people haven't spoken up over this issue. I realize that in the grand scheme of things, not as many people have the watch, but this--to me, at least--is a crucial component that needs to be implemented sooner than later.

There hasn't been any further comment on this much-needed feature, sadly enough, so I'm adding my two cents as well.
Please give some serious thought about implementing this important feature. After all, the stock mail app can do this, so why not?

I couldn't agree more! This is one feature that the stock Watch mail app has that I would REALLY like to see implemented. I'm really surprised that there aren't more users asking for this; perhaps there aren't as many Watch users yet, but I would still like to see this.

This is long overdue, please add this!

Definitely a feature worth implementing. I've been asking for this since the beginning, especially since it exists on the macOS client.

I was coming here to ask for this, especially after seeing that Spark for Mac has this baked in. The notifications come to the desktop even when the app isn't running, which is great! I'd really like to see this happen.

So now that this feature has been accepted, how does one use it?

So is this ever going to be taken seriously enough to be incorporated into the Watch app?
