Have you contacted support about this? I have never seen battery use this high myself - usually in the 3-5% range and I have about 7 accounts in Airmail. It pretty much mirrors the use that Apple mail uses. So I'd start with them first. I've found with some high battery use issues in other apps deleting and re-installing the app can fix it.

Just ran into the nead for this feature or at least an undo button/command
To contact support you can click the blue chat icon in the bottom right of the screen on airmailapp.com on a computer. They are very good about replying and helping there. You can also create a support ticket at http://support.airmailapp.com/contact
As for fee's - Airmail purchased via the App store are tied to the account you purchased it with, so if your using the same account on both machines - it should work on both.
