  1. Permit navigation when viewing messages in a separate window

It would be useful to be able to scroll through messages while viewing them in a separate window (instead of preview pane). This would allow user to quickly scan through messages in the folder without distraction to quickly process them. Also some messages have content that is wider than what the preview pane is currently set to, so this would allow the user to scroll through these messages without having to adjust the application window size and open up these messages individually

    • Clean up conversations view in Message Detail panel

Visually separate replies from a long thread within their own box with Sender and basic header information at the top of the box the way Apple Mail displays conversations, as well as truncating each reply so that each box does not include all the quoted text from all previous replies. This is the way Gmail allows expansion of a threaded conversation to only view the last senders reply, and by clicking further all the quoted text can be expanded as well. This makes it much easier to view the entire conversation. The heading of each box with Sender, timestamp, etc.…

      • BUG: Phantom messages

I've tried deleting two of my messages messages: one snoozing and one in To Read folder, but they are still there. Can't get rid of them.

        • Mute ( ignore ) email thread

An action to Mute by thread (email subject) - those pesky email chains that always seem to have everybody hitting 'reply all' and clogging up your inbox.

          • Spellcheck as-you-type really sucks—it doesn't recognize the most basic misspellings of the most basic words

Can Airmail not use the system-wide spell-checker? I can only assume that the Airmail spelling library has been left off the priority list.

            • Edit/Change "subject" on rules forward.

Many external to-do applications (Trello, Gneo for Evernote, Favro etc) have "secret" e-mail addresses I can post tasks to. However, they often rely on being able to edit/change the subject line of the e-mail. I would like to do this as actions within Airmail, however, there is no way I can reach the subject line via the rules settings.

For example, an e-mail comes in that I would like to act on, by creating a task in Gneo (which uses Evernote). That subject line would look something like this:
              =================
              Original subject line of e-mail
              =================

              I would then like…

              • Bug with "Mark as Read"

There seems to be a bug with the "Mark as Read" preferences. If "Mark on Click Delay 0.5 Sec" is set, deleting a message from the top of the list will move the selection to the next message (as usual) but the next message won't be marked as read.

I believe it is a bug because it doesn't happen with the similar option with 1 Sec or 3 Secs delays (on those cases, the message that is selected after deleting one will be marked as read).

Would love the possibility to have a direct "share to OmniFocus"/"share to service X" button on the touch bar.

                    • Add office365 MFA authentication

Please add authentication for Office365 using Microsofts ADAL SDK (https://github.com/AzureAD/azure-activedirectory-library-for-objc. This would enable AirMail usage for accounts managed by draconian IT departments that don't allow app passwords while having MFA enabled. Thanks!

                      • Fido U2F Token Support for Gmail

Currently when I connect to my Gmail account the embedded browser window opens to enter rgw 2 factor, but it does not detect my FIDO U2F Yubikey token that I use to connect to Google.

Eventually I want to have only hardware tokens for authentications with Gmail since Google recently started to support this option.

Would be good if Airmail supports it too, as they are more protected against even sophisticated fishing. Something that one wants to care about when accessing e-mail due to the fact that a lot of other accounts link to it.

                        • Delete option in Notification

Hello I would love to the option (alongside REPLY) to delete or archive the email straight from the OSX notification banner when I get an email. If it is already a feature I need to help to access it - otherwise, I feel it would be very useful

                          • Set color for recipient names based on domain in Composer

(Existing mac os mail feature). There are scary stories about people accidently putting external recipients on CC of [top scret] internal emails. Also, never want to send confidential customer info to a wrong person because of autosuggestion typo for CCed name.

I'd like to configure recepient names colors in Composer by domain. Say, use blue for colleagues from my company, red for customer A, green for customer B and, say, brown for all other recipients. Being able to visually check the recipients removes a big part of email anxiety!

Add ability to choose the signature on the per-email rather than per-account basis. I like to use formal/informal signatures depending on the recipient and the only way currently is switch in the Preferences. Just add a pull-down menu of signatures in the email composer window.

Well done so far, but as everything can be improve, I suggest that you add the informant integration on mac os like you have done on ISO.

                                  Thank you.
                                  Best regards,

                                  • Better integration with Spamsieve

Spamsieve detects spam just fine in Airmail, but the problem is that Airmail doesn't immediately move the spam to the spam folder. Instead, you have to wait until Airmail's Inbox refreshes (takes at least 1 minute if you set it that way). It's annoying to see so much spam just sitting in your Inbox every time you look at it. Airmail should immediately move the spam to the spam folder.

Hi - I've sent some notes via text, but I wanted to suggest a slightly different implementation for how Airmail handles To-Do items (and how it integrates with Gmails tags as a result). The current implementation makes it very difficult (and I think, for me, impossible) to create a consistent GTD implementation within Airmail (which was the use case I was so excited about). But I think one small change makes everything work (and may make some other features easier as well).

                                      Essentially the changes are these:
                                      1. Whenever an email DOESN'T have an Airmail-Done tag, it appears everywhere. Whenever…

It would be great to see a sender or contact profile. In particular I like the way that Polymail handles this. Perhaps an integration with something like FullContact to pull details?
