Allow font/size editing in mail viewer window, not just composer
I work on two screens, with one of the screens being significantly smaller than the other -- I use the smaller screen for my email client. I love most everything about Airmail, but the default viewer font is too small and difficult to read.
Please allow users to change the default font and font size within the viewer window.

Yes, please, allow a change to the default font! Changing the font for every email I send diminishes the benefits gained by the other 'efficiency' tools designed within the AirMail app.

How can this be true? I was just googling about airmail before I buy. I got to give this a second thought now...

v3.2 and still no way to set a default compose font? Seriously?

I agree with everyone's post I have to edit my font on every message when I send it out because it is too small for my viewers. they have complained. I have even tried tinker tool to override system and it hasn't worked.

Yep - 100% Agree - Bing able to adjust the font size & type is a major deterrent for me to switch to Airmail.

The backbone of email is text that you read. You are forcing your users to read in the font that you think is best. Forcing us to read in the text that you have selected makes us feel like you think you know better than we do what we want. And it should make you feel like I am looking for another email client.

You can change the font. So far there are 4 option fonts to choose from.
Settings/Font Size and Preview
Choose your font from there... -

I cannot believe the font sizes are fixed! Had I known this I wouldn't have spent any money as this is now just byte waste on my drive. Thank goodness I didn't also buy the ipad and iphone version.
Can I have my money back?

I am new to Airmail but my font keeps reverting to Helvetica which is no good for my needs. Can I change the font type for all my mail messages?

Even I can't read my own message - the ability to change the font is basic and imperative. BASIC!

You can do this yourself to a certain extent by modifying the style.css file in the Airmail.app/Contents/Resources folder.

Would not have purchased it if I had known it was missing such a basic "feature". Get on with it and fix it please.

Please, please add font customization, at least as some config file.
Current fonts are difficult to read for me.

I agree. It is amazing you cannot set your default font.

Just bought Airmail after hearing great things about it. I can't believe that, for all its customization, this basic option isn't included. Please fix!

Agree with everyone here. The first thing I do after setting up accounts in whichever mail app I'm using is change the font color to something easier on the eyes. It's been well over a year since this feedback was posted by Josh M. It's got 362 votes. Airmail app dev team, what are you waiting for?

Yes, definitely a dealbreaker for me. I have been testing various email clients since Microsoft ruined Outlook's spell checking functionality and although I love all the other features of Airmail, this is something I can't work with.
It's beyond me how they created such an ergonomic email client with so many layers of customization and not think of how much people appreciate customizing their fonts.
I love the app but I will either switch back to Mac mail until they fix it or look for an alternative. -

Really?!?! Customizing the font was the first thing I wanted to do as soon as I downloaded the app. It's the first thing I do when I use ANY email client (Mail, Outlook, etc...). I'm astonished that this basic functionality was overlooked. There are more then ten features of Airmail I would gladly trade for just, simply customizing fonts. I'm very disappointed with my purchase and feel like I have to just wait and use Mail until Airmail devs update this app.
