"Reply-to" is not using my alias address
I have gone in and setup an Alias. It says it is using that alias when I select it, but when it get's sent, it ends up saying the main account. I have the aliases setup in my gmail accounts tab and can do it from there, and it works, but from airmail it does not.
This issue describes somewhat what I am trying to do...
You may have to choose "Default Sender" inside your Alias setup...
Fix: I have Gmail and fixed this issue by adding a "send from"-account:
1) Go to settings
2) Click on "accounts"
3) Add "send to"-account (same as alias)
4) Click on "answer to same address mail is sent to"
Correction. I had saved the account in the Composing settings but it appears to have reset it.
FIXED: I have fixed this issue. In google apps I needed to change the settings/accounts/send mail as to the alias address (I made it the default address). See if that works. If not, also in Airmail/Preferences/Accounts/Alias/Alias settings/ I added a custom SMTP with an app specific password (if you have 2-step verification set up) for the main account (ie not the ailias). Click [Test the SMTP] to see if its working.
I am having this problem with Airmail 3.
I would like the alias I am using in From: to appear automatically in the Reply-To: header.
But, right now, using the alias appears to do nothing. The From: in the received message is not the alias, nor does the alias appear in the Reply-To. The alias does not appear anywhere in the message that I send.

Same problem here. Very annoying when you need to use Aliases for business emails

Same issue here in v 2.6.1
Please fix this! It's functionality I've come to depend on
Is this going to be fixed or looked into? I bought Airmail on the premise of this working after direct conversation with Airmail online chat. If it's not working then I'll be requesting a refund.

I can also confirm this. It also doesn't show "from" as my alias.

I'm getting the same. It's especially annoying for google groups discussions that go to an alias. :(

Is there an update on this fix? I'm not using Airmail until this is sorted.

This is true. It used to work in v1.X of Airmail but now 2.X broke it. I can select an alias that I want to use but no matter what it will use the main account as the "Reply-To" address. I even tried to select "All Mail" as described here:
The problem with that approach is that "All Mail" isn't available in 2.X on my IMAP connections unless I change my configuration and even if I do that it doesn't work.
In v1.X of Airmail I didn't even have to select "All Mail". The aliases worked great from my Inbox or wherever.
