It'd be crazy useful if when I started to type the name of a label, it suggested all of the different places that label appears. For example, if I invoke the "L" shortcut and begin typing V, E, N, I'd love to see a list that includes all of those instances: "Client 01/Vendors", vs. "Client 02/Vendors", vs. "Client 03/Vendors", etc.
This functionality currently exists through gmail.com, and I'd love to see it extended into Airmail.
Yes! Yes! Yes!

This would be really useful, at the moment it's a little slow applying labels. It would be great to just be able to just press 'L' and then start typing the label.
This is the last thing needed that would make Airmail my go to client. I think the best I've seen for fuzzy filing is with Omnifocus. For something like:
I can just type M & L to get the label I need.
But I would settle for something similar to what GMail has even.

That would be a much nicer and faster workflow. Currently the shortcuts for moving are not really useful because the selection of the label take too long.
Agreed, I already requested it for Airmail 1.0 and it never was implemented. This idea can be found also on the following threads (for Airmail 1.0 but definitely applicable to 2.0):
