Server site spam filtering is just a start. We also need some local control. I've depended on SpamSieve for years and that would be my first choice but native support like Appe's Mail spam filtering might suffice.
What a WONDERFUL idea! MacMail's filtering was adequate but Airmail's complete lack of it is a PITA.

You should really add a spam filter.
I agree with other comments. I too love Spemsieve and wish it worked with Airmail. I like Airmail so much at the moment though that I'm prepared, for the time being, to put up with this failing. Please try to make it happen guys. Michael at Spamsieve says he would love his product to work with yours but it is you who need to develop Airmail in order to make that happen. snip>> "I’d like SpamSieve to work with AirMail, however since its filtering is not extensible and it doesn’t support AppleScript, this would need support from the AirMail developers."
I get 250+ spam emails again from multiple email addresses, most of which are PPI or insurance, etc. This has made airmail impossible for me to use and I've reverted back to Apple's Mail.
As many users have noted, your application is really not usable in any serious business environment because of lack of quality spam filtering
You need to get your app working with SpamSieve ASAP

I voted for this as well. The spam filtering simply doesn't seem to be working. I continuously mark messages as spam from particular senders, but new messages from the same senders keep showing up in my inbox. As Luis said, this is the only thing keeping me from using Airmail as my primary email client. It is awesome otherwise, but it's not practical without decent spam filtering.

SpamSieve is just brilliant, no need to reinvent the well and something that I find quite essential in any email client. Although im using AirMail most of the day, the lack of proper spam filtering is the biggest annoyance to me and it keeps me going back to Postbox to have my inbox cleaned.
Please add this.
