I never thought I would say this and I'm curious to see if anyone agrees. Who knew I would be writing such an economically irrational thing for a consumer.

I like Airmail and I want it to be much better and stronger. Upgrades in design, integrations, features, customizability, encryption - would all be amazing.

I wonder if one of the reasons why updates and upgrades are so slow to come in Airmail is because you guys have limited revenue stream. One-time payment of $10 is probably not enough to fund continuous development.

I, for one, would gladly pay $10/year to use Airmail. That would feel a bit odd for people who already paid $10 for eternal license. So you could alternatively charge a discounted upgrade fee for Airmail 4, of, say, $5. Or even, you can introduce a premium SaaS tier with enhanced storage, CRM integrations, search, composer, etc.

Whatever the case, I think you guys will become a much stronger software with more money! Interested to see what others think of this.
