  1. Conversation View For Inbox Only

Currently it appears that Airmail includes ALL messages in any folder in a conversation. For someone who receive daily updates or emails with the same subject each day this can really add up. For example, I receive an email from each of my servers each day, and the subject is the same so even though I've archived each one, each day, it still shows the thread of 1500 emails in my Inbox.

I think it would be great to have an option to show a thread/conversation of messages in the Inbox only and not include those in other folders, it…

  2. Use space bar as "scroll down" and not "open mail in new window", as in Apple Mail and all browsers

In Apple Mail pressing space works as "scroll down" in the message window. In airmail, pressing space opens the mail in a new window.
So either adding a new "scroll down" key or perhaps change the space keypress to "scroll down"?

This is the same functionality as all browsers and Apple Mail.

  3. "Add to Contacts" should work in the native OSX way

At the moment, adding a person to your contacts from an email just creates a new record in the OSX address book. This isn't expected behaviour for OSX apps. Instead, the option of "Create New" or "Add to Existing" should be offered, like in all Apple's apps.

  4. Save link in email to Pocket

It would get to right-click on a link in an email and be able to save it to Pocket. I get many emails that are digests of articles, and it'd great to save out individual links to Read-Later services.

  5. Rules Creation

Add a context menu item, when right clicking on a message, to create *NEW* rules based on meta-data (Sender info, message body...) of selected email.

  6. Forward as attachment

We REALLY need forward email as attachment. This is a sorely missing feature that every other email client seems to have including PostBox.

  8. in-line reply editing

If someone sends you an email with say, 10 questions, when you reply using Airmail, you can't say, "See my answers in red below," and then answer each question, because nothing that is shown from the original email is editable! Not sure why this is, but it would make me a hundred million times more productive when using AIrmail.

  9. Emoji Support For Message Body and Message Line

Many Products (such as Basecamp) support emojis and send them as emoji code in emails and subject lines i.e. :+1: for thumbs up, etc.

Should be a pretty easy feature to add to support them.

  10. Old emails are not getting downloaded

I have purchased the app and now my older emails are not getting downloaded. There is no support email id or there is no support person present for the app.

  11. Please provide a manual for 2.0.

Right now your "Manual" under the Help menu you are redirected to a webpage that is decidedly NOT a manual. Or provide good message boards or more complete instructions or something. I would love to move off the Mac Mail app, and I am told by many that Airmail is the way to go, but right now it is difficult to figure out how to make Airmail work the way I need it to.

  13. Evernote Rules - Add ability to specify notebook and tags

When adding a rule to dispatch to Evernote, it would be nice to have it go directly to a specific notebook and/or add tags - rather than the default notebook. That would allow filtering of rules to add direct to notebook storage of appropriate emails.

  14. Support IMAP keywords (similar to Thunderbird tags)

Currently labels and folders are used in the same way, because Gmail uses them that way. IMAP does support keywords for messages which Thunderbird uses to tag messages with named tags. It would be great if Airmail would support this instead of folders as labels for IMAP accounts. Currently I cannot use the Todo/Memo/Done functions because they would move messages to a different folder, I would like to use this feature while using folders at the same time.

  15. TOOLBAR IMPROVEMENTS

You really need to make the toolbar better. I like BIG ICONS, I like to
be able to SPREAD THEM APART so I don't accidentally hit the wrong one because I go through a lot of email each day, so I like the icons to be
easily identified as in COLORED ICONS (see the POSTBOX app). Please change this!

  16. Focus Mode for composing emails

Apps like iA writer and Markdown have a Focus Mode that only highlight the sentence you're currently typing and fade out the rest. That would be an awesome feature for composing emails:
    Example: http://images.computerwoche.de/images/computerwoche/bdb/1842754/890.jpg

  17. Multiple files "Quicklook" & save multiple attachments by drag&drop

I can select multiple attachments, but I only can't preview them altogether. It would also be nice to drag&drop multiple attachments to the desktop (for example)

  18. possibility to deactivate features for a better overview

If you right click on a mail you have al lot of features.
If you could hide some of them you don't use (e.g. send to Thing, Services, Flags...) you can have a much more better UI for your own use.

  19. GitHub Flavoured Markdown

Add GitHub flavoured Markdown. Perhaps this would be easier to implement than adding your own syntax highlighting. Selecting between "flavors" of Markdown would also be an excellent extension of this feature.
