  1. Attachments Hard to Find

It's too hard to find attachments. It's routinely takes several minutes for me to figure out how to get to them in a long thread. Ideally, I could just click the paperclip or see a separate pane at the bottom.

  2. Unread Badge Count for all Folders, not just Inbox

I use Exchange account and folders.
I see my badge count is equals of inbox folder, but not for all folders.

  3. Highlight messages with label color

This used to be the default behavior, but changed in the latest update to Airmail 2.0 - label colors now only highlight the top right corner of the message which for me makes them much harder to see.

I used this feature extensively to visually distinguish messages - I would love if this came back.

  4. UI Refresh

Great we have a mac app. However, I find the overall look and feel a bit dated.

Fonts and colour scheme do not make it compelling to use. Functionality great

  5. New icon. Improve the overall design and animations - cleaner, smoother. Attention to detail.

Spend time perfecting what's already there, making it beautiful, and work really well. Airmail doesn't need any more major "features" as such, what does need to happen is refining what's there.

  6. in-line reply editing

If someone sends you an email with say, 10 questions, when you reply using Airmail, you can't say, "See my answers in red below," and then answer each question, because nothing that is shown from the original email is editable! Not sure why this is, but it would make me a hundred million times more productive when using AIrmail.

  7. TOOLBAR IMPROVEMENTS

You really need to make the toolbar better. I like BIG ICONS, I like to
be able to SPREAD THEM APART so I don't accidentally hit the wrong one because I go through a lot of email each day, so I like the icons to be
easily identified as in COLORED ICONS (see the POSTBOX app). Please change this!

  8. Focus Mode for composing emails

Apps like iA writer and Markdown have a Focus Mode that only highlight the sentence you're currently typing and fade out the rest. That would be an awesome feature for composing emails:
    Example: http://images.computerwoche.de/images/computerwoche/bdb/1842754/890.jpg

  9. Make Accounts Hierarchical / Support Account Groups

I very much need a feature to group Mail Accounts like e.g. in the Postbox or Thunderbird apps. I have more than a dozen accounts, some of which are for specific purposes.

So I like a group of "priority" accounts.
    another group of "private" accounts,
yet another group of "-Commerce" accounts,
plus a group of "mailing list" accounts etc...

Each with separate unified inbox, customizable notifications, the option to quickly switch per group, a GUI feature to collapse / expand all contained accounts etc.

And the top feature would also be to have accounts be part of multiple groups (even…

  10. Improve visibility of messages in a conversation

Improve visibility of messages in a conversation to allow seeing messages in a conversation on the message list. This would also allow deleting a single message in a thread.

  11. Scroll bug found with Airmail Version 3.2.1 (397)

You have a bug in the reading panes that when you have a long email string, and you scroll towards the bottom, the screen bounces when viewing that email string. Very annoying

    Attaching video of this: http://jmp.sh/8sqwIwy

  12. UI Font is too small/light

The font in the sidebars/interface is way to light to be easily readable.

It would be nice to allow us to select bolder or larger readable fonts.

I've attached some screenshots to illustrate what I mean

  13. Smart Folder Refresh

Smart Folders (saved searches) don't refresh automatically, eg when a mail has been read. Eg if you have a Smart Folder that shows all unread mails, you have to navigate out and back to the Smart folder (or hit 1, 1) in order for those read mails to disappear. There should be a Cmd-R type facility to force-refresh (plus an automatic refresh).

  14. Data Time Selectors On Snooze Settings Do Not Respect Regional Settings

When regional settings are set to use 24 hour clock, snooze preferences still use the am/pm 12 hour clock system. Time settings in preferences should respect the system's regional settings.

  15. Ability to move Send Button in the touchbar

The Send button in the touchbar is not able to be moved. It just happens to sit under my left hand. I inadvertently touch it often, prematurely sending incomplete emails. If I could move it when editing the touchbar layout I could put it in an area that my fingers are less likely to hit it when I don't want to.

  16. Sync customized swipes between iOS and Mac

On iOS, you can customize your swipes in the message list, and there are two levels of swipes on the left and the right.

On the Mac, there's only one level of swipe, and the actions are non-customizable, which is bad for muscle memory.

  17. Multiple window view

I would like to be able to have more than one folder open at the same time, ideally in different windows. Often I have a specific search result in the main window and before I am finished working on those results I need to look at my inbox or review some other folder. I would like to be able to right-click on a folder (like All Inboxes) and select "Open in new window"

  18. Stop switching app window on deleting emails from OSX notification banner.

After clicking on the "Bin" button in OSX notification banner it changes from current active application to Airmail. Ideally I'd like to bin an email without having to switch to Airmail view. This is how it works in OSX's Mail.app.

    Details:
    OSX El Capitan 10.11.1, Airmail 2 Version 2.5.5 (335)
