  1. Drag and drop attachements from directly email

Please add drag and drop attachment from email on desktop. It is not possible to drag it, only with the right click save to destination.

  2. Spam filtering

Server site spam filtering is just a start. We also need some local control. I've depended on SpamSieve for years and that would be my first choice but native support like Appe's Mail spam filtering might suffice.

  3. Support drag and drop GIFS

Dragging in a GIF converts it to a PNG which is definitely not what I was hoping it to do. Everything else seems pretty cool so far.

  5. Add copy/paste functionality for attachments.

I use Airmail in fullscreen mode on my Mac constantly. And as such its not very easy for me to drag/drop files into it from finder. I would LOVE to be able to just copy/paste E.g. command+c and command+v files straight into a message like I can in Mail.App. This would be a massive improvement for an already great app in my opinion.

  7. Fold main-folder with sub-folders, so that only the main-folder is shown

Currently, if you have a folder with some sub-folders in your imap account, all folders are shown. It would be nicer, if you could fold the main folder, that the sub-folders aren't shown.

  8. Print Button

it would be great, even necessary, to add a print button in the task list

  9. Attachments view

This would be a view that previews all attachments for an account.

I personally find hunting down attachments to be one of the most common (and most annoying) tasks when looking through my email.

A dedicated attachments view would solve this problem.

  10. Multiple files "Quicklook" & save multiple attachments by drag&drop

I can select multiple attachments, but I only can't preview them altogether. It would also be nice to drag&drop multiple attachments to the desktop (for example)

  11. Don't indent quoted messages

Many other mail programs have a selectable feature to disable indenting of quoted messages in replies and forwards. If a mail thread is very long, the indentation can get unwieldy. Even with shorter mail threads, I find these indentations to be generally distracting.

Apple mail is one program that allows the indentation to be disabled by unchecking "increase quote level". Same for Windows Live Mail.

  12. Hide IMAP Root Folders

You already hide the default [Gmail] Root Folder, which is great. However, some german GMail Accounts have a different Root Folder named [Google Mail], which is not hidden but never in use.
It would also be nice if the root folder of Mailbox-App [Mailbox] could be hidden.

  13. Add ability to create tables. A very useful and frequently used feature in MS-Outlook.

Click an icon or right click > Insert Table -- Display a grid
User drags mouse across the grid to pick no of rows and columns
Table is created. See attached screenshot.
Allow adding, deleting and resizing rows and columns of the table.

  14. AppleScript (or some other) Interface to interact with Airmail from outside the application

... so we can use Alfred Workflows, Keyboard Maestro Macros and other Automation stuff to be more efficient on our Macs.
