  1. Send Later

    https://blog.kamens.us/send-later/

This is a magnificent plugin that works with Postbox and Thunderbird.

Please add support for such functionality.

  2. Fix Default Sender preference - neither "Selected", nor "Ask" options work.

Please fix the Default Sender preference. Neither "Selected Account", nor "Ask" options are currently working. In my Airmail, the account listed first (top) is always used.

  3. reply to html email embeds local paths

I've got plain text outbound emails. When I reply to an html email with attachments, I get quoted text like this:

    > [file:///Users/ari/Library/Group Containers/2E337YPCZY.airmail/Library/Application Support/it.bloop.airmail2/Airmail/General/Local/1513579233195297024/Attachments/image001.png@01D37821.E689F0D0]

Clearly these local paths should not be exposed to other users. Either give me the option to send as html or just strip inline attachments.

  4. Auto-select 'from' when composing a new email

There is a feature in Mac Mail that I found extremely useful.

When composing an email, Mac Mail was able to determine which account I was meant to be sending from based on who I am sending to.

    For example:

Lets say we have 2 email accounts, account 1, 2 and 3

When I email customer 1, I always use account 2.
When I email customer 2 I always use account 1.

Mac Mail learns this pattern and auto swaps to the correct account when I add the recpient to the email.

In my case I use at least 8…

  5. Do not autocapitalize first line of body for German language

In the composer the first line below the salutation (e.g. "Dear Sir or Madam," or "Sehr geehrte Damen und Herren," in German) the first line of the body gets autocapitalized, which is wrong according to German grammar rules (unless the first word is a noun or some special pronoun (i.e. "Sie" for the English "you" directed at a respected person)

  6. Get rid of garbage tags and attributes in HTML content

I'm typically composing emails in a simple, concise way. I don't use color or other fancy stuff.

But when I see people reply to my emails, part of the quoted email from me is always blue. Why? Because Airmail inserts unneeded and erroneous HTML tags/attributes in the outgoing email.

The problem is exacerbated when I'm posting to some helpdesk application, which then tries to convert HTML to some wiki-like markup and that gives a lot of garbage now on the user level.

    Hope this gets addressed.

    Thanks!
    Igor

  7. Different signatures for different recipients

This solution I had in "The Bat" for Windows.

When you type a recipient in TO: field, the signature changes based upon recipient email.

You can define different signatures and connect them with different recipients and they are applied automatically.

So you can define different signature for your friends, different for business partners and different for your mom :)

And then you don't need to switch them manually so it saves time.

The Bat had it like 10 years ago :)

  9. email autosuggestion does not work when Airmail is fullscreen

When I compose a new email and start typing an address or a person name while the airmail app is in fullscreen mode, autocompletion of email addresses from my contacts doesn't work. If I exit fullscreen mode, everything works as expected.

  10. Support for Century Gothic

I was very happy to see that Airmail allows you to set different fonts for different email accounts, something I've been looking for for a while now, but one of the accounts I use needs Century Gothic, and I can't see this in the list of available fonts.

How can you include this, and other fonts? Thank you.

  13. Default 'from' email address to the inbox being selected

I have 4 email addresses configured in Airmail. Right now when I pick an email inbox and then choose to compose an email, the 'from' field is defaulted to a particular email address. Each time I have to remember to select the correct from email address before I send which is proving to be a difficult task. Please automate the from email address to whichever inbox I have selected or to which email address the email was sent to in the first place.

  14. Bulleted List Issue

When you are doing a bulleted List - the Tab key should move in the bullet - not add a Tabbed Space next to the bullet.

  15. Automatically use different email signature for replies

I can see that this idea has been suggested a couple of times previously but not had the attention it deserves, so this is an attempt to finally get a desperately needed feature added.

Coming from MS Outlook, I really miss the ability to have a separate signature for new emails and one for replies and forwarding. I know that Airmail allows multiple signatures to be created, but manually selecting a different one for replies in tedious, time-consuming and simply doesn't make sense when using the Quick Reply feature!

  16. Per-email rather than per-account signature

Add ability to choose the signature on the per-email rather than per-account basis. I like to use formal/informal signatures depending on the recipient and the only way currently is switch in the Preferences. Just add a pull-down menu of signatures in the email composer window.

  17. Confirm send & No attachment

I often compose a large business mail which is important and I alter and extend the content multiple times. And it happened to me multiple times, that I accidentally send the mail before it was finished. It would be great if there's an option which we can active for every mail, that when I hit the send button, a confirmation window shows up if we are sure, that the mail should be sent out.

Also, I often write in mails "I've attached you the document in this mail" etc. and then forget to add the attachment, please implement something like…

  18. Ability to set default font for markdown output

So, even if I have my default font set on an account basis at Account -> Composer, if I compose a mail using markdown, the markdown output is always Helvetica.

Another thing is, if you start your composer in Markdown as a default, the generated HTML already includes the font-family Helvetica. So the default font doesn't even get applied.

  19. Remove RGB coloring to every paragraph

When we convert e-mails to Atlassian JIRA issue comments, these are simply unreadable.

    Hi XXX,
    color: Color value is invalid
    color: Color value is invalid

A short summary of what we just discussed via our video-call.
    color: Color value is invalid
    color: Color value is invalid

I’) ve setup a simple workflow but combined the Waiting for Agent and Waiting for Suppor Queu as you can make this visible in the queues of a project.
    color: Color value is invalid
    color: Color value is invalid

    etc.

  20. Font changes. Why?

I use a specific font when I compose my emails but after I send the email the font changes to Helvetica? It's so annoying. This makes the content of my email have a different font than my signature. It looks unprofessional and ugly. How to fix this?
