The count number of Local Sent
It always display the number of local sent mails on the right side of "local sent" icon. It's a little annoying. Actually, maybe Only the number of TODOs need to be displayed.

Today I was looking for an email to a collaborator, with whom I exchange conversation threads on a weekly basis for nearly 4 years. I was supposed to find that thread when we exchanged back and forth over 100 design references.... but how can I spot it among the other hundreds of conversation, if the Subject is "Design reference" in at least 10…8 votes -
High information density
The iPhone screen is small. I keep using Sparrow, despite no longer being in development, because it allows me view a decent number of emails and their previews on the screen.
I've found other email apps, including the defailt Mail.app, to waste more screen estate than I would like.
I would especially welcome view options in the settings to choose how many lines are displayed in previews, so that users have some control over how the screen estate is used.

deleting a message
When you delete a message while it is syncronysing.... the message is reloaded again.... it doesn't get the delete order correctly throuth the server

On my Mac files
Unfortunately I cannot move from Mac Mail to Airmail because airmail does not either import or have access to all of my email files that stored "On My Mac". I have been using many folders that now contain hundreds of filed emails to file my emails and they all would be lost if I moved to Airmail.

Closeable subfolders
Mail currently does not allow nested folders to be "closed" so that the while folder hierarchy is not visible. This is very inefficient for the user's workflow having to scroll down through 100 of subfolders vertically, some of which I actively do not want to see, at that time (which is why they are nested) and is frankly crazy for Apple not to implement on the iPhone one of the very features which they invented to make the Mac OS the joy it was.

PNG Formatting and Cache
I receive screenshots in PNG format. The dimensions of the screenshot are oversized, so when I print the email directly from Airmail, the image is chopped off.
The only solution I have found to print the image correctly is to open it in finder, edit the file name by deleting the ID string following the .PNG extension and opening in preview. However, this breaks the link to the image back to Airmail. If I choose to forward or reply the original email, the screenshot no longer loads. I am left with a broken image icon.

"Delete" key does not work
It's not possible to delete mails with "delete" key after using filters or simple go to sent messages! :(

Fix header in the e-mail pre-view & view window
It would be nice to keep the header fix in the window so you can easly anwser, foward, etc an email without scrooling all the way up.
I'm talking about the window that opens when you double click on an email, I'm attaching a screenshot so you all understand.

Airmail 2.0 is no longer remebering the width i've set it to - on app load it goes wider than it was set - airmail 1.0 never did this

Select top message on show app
I use the show app hotkey everytime i open the app. it would be nice if the top message was selected when i show the app that way.

UI clarity issue
When you first open the app, on the right side there's no delineation between the toolbar and the message area, since there is no message selected. Even when a message is selected, there's no delineation between the 'Subject' area and the toolbar. The line that determines where one can click to drag the window and where one can't do so is invisible.
This certainly looks beautiful, but this is a problem for the UI because a user who isn't highly experienced with the Mac, or with the app won't know exactly where they should click if they want to drag…

Built-in visualizations for email data assessment
The idea is simple. If I'd like to see where my greatest amount of time is being spent in regards to email, I can look at a basic dashboard with all of the information displayed in an easy-to-read format.

Control of placement,size and color/tone of the menu bars
I would like to see ,when composing...to have larger and better viewing of the compose,return,trash , attachment etc labels. Hard to read. I want to have a Printer on the right side. Images are too faded and hard to see.
On the black side column, I can only see thered, yellow and green buttons. Everything to the right I cannot see. You can see the attachment I have, that on top you can see two shades of print. The rotate is one shade and the "actual size" is another.

On macbook air, allow multiple attachments to be saved. Have to do one at a time at present.

I never thought I would say this and I'm curious to see if anyone agrees. Who knew I would be writing such an economically irrational thing for a consumer.
I like Airmail and I want it to be much better and stronger. Upgrades in design, integrations, features, customizability, encryption - would all be amazing.
I wonder if one of the reasons why updates and upgrades are so slow to come in Airmail is because you guys have limited revenue stream. One-time payment of $10 is probably not enough to fund continuous development.

Filter/Sort Read Receipt Folder
Ability to resort the Read Receipts folder by last READ. I currently get notification sound that one of my emails has been read, but it is not clear which one was just read.
