  1. Make it to hide/unhide multiple folders/labels

If you have a complex folder structure on the IMAP server (or if you use many labels) and you want only a handful to be displayed in the sidebar, currently you have to go and hide them one by one. A long and frustrating process. It would be nice to be able to select multiple folders and hide or unhide them all at once.

  2. I really need my email accounts all to be localized so that they are not erased when my webmail is over quota

Make accounts localized so that when webmail is over quota you dont have to erase the messages

  4. Adding an IMAP account includes previously created folders and subfolders

Just purchased and installed Aairmail Mac 2.0 and can't use as my godaddy IMAP accounts are not showing the folders I maintain (created in webmail or apple mail). Airmail needs to read this directly from the server and automatically add to the sidebar.

  6. Archive Messages from Inbox on a Schedule

Email quickly becomes stale, can we have a feature that labels specific messages and archives them on a schedule as opposed to immediately.

For example, maybe I want to archive all of my Read Inbox messages on a rolling 90 days or maybe I want specifically Archive all of my Calendar Notifications at the end of the day (they are useless after the meeting.)

  7. Support for gmail superstars

I'm not sure how much this feature is still used by the majority of gmail users. I do have a pretty idiosyncratic way of organising my inbox.

  8. move emails to folder should always remove all all copies

You copy emails to a folder (copy from folder X --> Y). Now you go to folder Y and want to remove the copied which are inside folder X, it would be super handy if you can do this from folder Y with the command "move to folder Y".
So far you can only go back to folder X and select all mails which were copied and then say from there "move to folder Y". This can be very ugly if you copied many emails over time.

  9. return if no response

I'm almost at the point where I'd like to revisit Airmail but I just don't think it meets the needs other platforms are able to provide.

For example, it would be amazing to have the Boomerang type features to recall an email IF it isn't responded to by a set amount of time. (Similar to snooze, but with more options and usefulness)

  10. photo browser

With the apple mail and the iPad version airmail you can select photos directly from the photo app, and they are loaded at a reasonable size into the letter, and the photo is displayed without having to download an image,
I would prefer this method, with notability you can even re-size and move the photos, that would be the ultimate, however if I ever require to email a photo along with a letter, I could always use another app,

Add a message "Your message has been archived/deleted/sent - Undo" when performing an action.

  13. Feature request: highlight *something* when searching

Hi. Maybe it's just me, but I'll often leave Airmail open with a search term in the search bar. Thus, later on, a quick glance at the program makes it look like there are no new mails. I have to stop and consciously check to see if I'm searching for something and that's why.

I would like to see some kind of visual cue that a search is in progress - maybe as simple as dimming the top bar and/or highlighting the search box. Just something so you can see when you glance that you're not in the Inbox.

    Thanks.

  14. Dark text color on lighter colored labels

Dark text color when using lighter label background colors.

For example, my yellow label currently has the default white text color, which is hard to read. A darker text color would be more sufficient.

  15. Offset message when dragging

When dragging a message from the list to a folder can you offset the message from the cursor so it is easier to see where the cursor is and which folder it is hovering over?

  16. Insert image by menu action

Drag and dropping images into the compose window can be cumbersome, especially on a laptop.
Would like an option to "Insert Image" via a click-context menu or menu button.

  17. Cursor up option

First, thanks for fixing the infinitely slow Address entry and thanks to Steven for getting back to me before I switched back to Mail.

In Airmail 2, I was able to keep my Inbox sorted descending by date and to "teach" the cursor to move up rather than down when I delete an email—in order to go from oldest to newest. I know I can do this with an arrow key but it was nice when it was automatic.

  18. Create a Recently Downloaded bin

I'd like to suggest creating a recently downloaded bin within Airmail. I'd like to be able to click a button that opens a small window (within Airmail) that would allow me to see my most recent downloads in chronological order so that I could easily retrieve a recently downloaded document.

    thanks!

  19. Use "Move to [folder" again

Have context-sensitive menu display "Move to [previous folder]". After you move a message or messages to a folder, remember that folder and display it when messages are selected. 9 times out of 10, that's what I want to do.

Allow users to save custom views. For example I'd like to sometimes use a view of Inbox showing Unread Messages, sorted by Sender then by Date. Then be able to revert to another view showing all messages, sorted by Date.
