Slider/Popups can be annoying when using other apps
I'd like to start by saying I really like Airmail but one particular feature can be inconvenient.
When I'm in another app, like Safari, the "slider" or "pop up" that appears in the upper right hand corner to notify me of a new email just sits there for several seconds, blocking access to features in the other app.
If the pop up had a couple buttons on it, that would be really great.
OPEN
CLOSE
DELETEoptions right in the pop up would make it so useful, If I want to look at it right away, I'd use OPEN. If…

Dark text color on lighter colored labels
Dark text color when using lighter label background colors.
For example, my yellow label currently has the default white text color, which is hard to read. A darker text color would be more sufficient.

It would be a good idea if one can see the final size of the email once you have added some pictures. Thanks and best wishes from Ulrich (Ge

Use "Move to [folder" again
Have context-sensitive menu display "Move to [previous folder]". After you move a message or messages to a folder, remember that folder and display it when messages are selected. 9 times out of 10, that's what I want to do.

mark emails while composing
It would be great if there was an option when composing an email to flag addresses. Example, in Apple Mail, you can toggle an option to flag addresses not ending in @work.com. This is a great option when using your work email, so you don't accidentally send a work related item to a friend, or to a colleague's personal email. It simply highlights the address in red when you are composing your email.

I really need my email accounts all to be localized so that they are not erased when my webmail is over quota
Make accounts localized so that when webmail is over quota you dont have to erase the messages

Archive Messages from Inbox on a Schedule
Email quickly becomes stale, can we have a feature that labels specific messages and archives them on a schedule as opposed to immediately.
For example, maybe I want to archive all of my Read Inbox messages on a rolling 90 days or maybe I want specifically Archive all of my Calendar Notifications at the end of the day (they are useless after the meeting.)

Enable/disable collection of email addresses
We have a policy at work not to auto collect email addresses to prevent the autocomplete/user to make the mistake of sending the email to johndoe@thenewyorktimes.com instead of johndoe@client.com.
We fill the address book with only internal addresses so mistakes stay within the company. So the only way we are allowed to use airmail is if we can prevent the collection of addresses.
Please make it an option which we can disable.1 vote -

No Discard window if the body of the email contains no content (filter out signature)
Currently, if I close an empty airmail window, it asks if I want to save my draft. I think this is because it is registering the signature information as text in the body of the email. Any chance you can filter the signature out so that closing an empty email does not result in a save draft notification?

Cursor up option
First, thanks for fixing the infinitely slow Address entry and thanks to Steven for getting back to me before I switched back to Mail.
In Airmail 2, I was able to keep my Inbox sorted descending by date and to "teach" the cursor to move up rather than down when I delete an email—in order to go from oldest to newest. I know I can do this with an arrow key but it was nice when it was automatic.

PGP NEEDED !!!
There is HUGE need for PGP integration in Airmail... The plugin is a joke.
We need a proper PGP integration with the ability to import GPG keys, to sign/decrypt mails...1 vote -
Adding an IMAP account includes previously created folders and subfolders
Just purchased and installed Aairmail Mac 2.0 and can't use as my godaddy IMAP accounts are not showing the folders I maintain (created in webmail or apple mail). Airmail needs to read this directly from the server and automatically add to the sidebar.

Link email threads
Often emails are related even though in different threads. The ability to link threads somehow would be very useful.

Option to disable confirmation when marking all messages read
Currently when marking all messages as read in a folder the user is prompted for confirmation. It would be useful to have the option of disabling this confirmation step.

photo browser
With the apple mail and the iPad version airmail you can select photos directly from the photo app, and they are loaded at a reasonable size into the letter, and the photo is displayed without having to download an image,
I would prefer this method, with notability you can even re-size and move the photos, that would be the ultimate, however if I ever require to email a photo along with a letter, I could always use another app,1 vote -

Create a specific time slot where the app will be working or not
We all know the stress of enjoying the weekend but mail is still sent to your iphone. Very annoying sometimes. One still needs the phone for other things but one is not wanting to see mail.
To create less stress during the evening or during the weekend I would welcome a preference where one could change the "app being online" I would call it Airtime :-)
Example:
App online and working: Mo,Tue, Wed, Thurs, Fr 08AM-17PM
App offline and not working: Mo-Fr 17PM-08AM
App offline: WeekendsApp offline: when a certain speed is reached (car driving) and one can either…
