Find text within an email being viewed
Currently there is only a search interface for filtering emails. Cmd-F while viewing an email switch to this (hiding the current email).
Worse, when viewing an email as a separate window, Cmd-F brings up the search interface in the main window, while giving no indication that it's done anything in the email window. If the email window is obscuring the main Airmail window then you can't tell that it did anything at all. This is sufficiently bad as to border on being a straight out UX bug.
Right now if I want to find something INSIDE a specific email I…

Mute ( ignore ) email thread
An action to Mute by thread (email subject) - those pesky email chains that always seem to have everybody hitting 'reply all' and clogging up your inbox.

Swipe Sensitivity is too low?
Comparing to the swipe sensitivity of Spark, Airmail is pretty terrible. I can swipe just a little bit to get Spark to react, however, I had to swipe a long distance on my track pad to get Airmail to start recognizing my swipe. Deleting the email by swiping is really really awkward because of this. I am seeing a lot of similar feedbacks below, but it seems like Airmail team just don't care about this horrible user experience? Please fix this!

Links in emails will not open in any browser.
In Preferences > Appearance I have unchecked Autoload Remote Images. Links in email messages are clickable – mousing over the link shows the link and the cursor changes to a pointer – but clicking the link doesn't open it in a browser. I first have to load remote images for the message and then clicking a link opens it in a browser. These are just simple text links already embedded in the message, so is this a bug or a feature?

New emails are marked as read
New emails are being marked as read automatically ONLY when Airmail is open. When I close Airmail it is fine. The computer is not in use and there are no other clients.

Data/time is not correctly calculated in meeting invitations from different time zones.
Date/time is not correctly calculated in meeting invitations from different time zones. It is annoying only the date/time for the sender is shown in my mail box (working is a different time zone), it is a waste of time to jump to calendar app to find and check what is the really correct time/date.

Apply labels faster
Applying labels in Airmail v1.x and v2.x was lightning fast. Performance of applying labels in v3.x is a regression.
When I type "L" to invoke the labels popover, I immediately begin typing the name of an existing label that I wish to apply. Rather than refining my list of labels, the app begins executing other keyboard-shortcut commands.
For example, I type "L" immediately followed by "R" -- rather than refine my list of labels to those beginning with R, a new Reply window opens!
Please make the labels popover appear and respond to keyboard input immediately.

Select next message behaviour on delete
Add an option to choose which direction the selection moves when a message is deleted.
Currently, the selection moves to the next message below. So if I start marking messages with the oldest unread message, every time I delete a message, it moves to a message I have already read. So I have to delete message, then manually move to the next message to read.
Would be nice to have an option to reverse this behaviour, so when deleting it would move the selection to the next message above the deleted message.

Auto-snooze emails from particular sender
Hey, snooze feature is big deal and I'm glad you released it. It will go even further, if you plan to add an additional option:
- right-click or longer-tap on email
- option to auto-snooze every email from this sender to tonight-tomorrow-etc.
Thanks! :)

Please allow me to group certain mail accounts.
Please allow me to group certain mail accounts. As with a 'unified inbox', I would like to be able to unify two or three email accounts.
I have two or three addresses come in from the same domain: accounts@, info@, sales@, and would really love the functionality of having them grouped together with colour coding delineating which email corresponds to each address.
This would be amazing!

Open the reply sent to a message when clicking on the Reply arrow on the left side of the message list
In Apple mail when a message has been replied to you can click on the little reply arrow that shows up in the message list, and it will open the reply email you had sent. I love this feature. We have the arrow in AM3 showing that it has been replied to, but can't click it. Please make it clickable.

Swipe interaction is too sluggish and not responsive
I have given up trying to use swipe with my Macbook Pro (Retina 13" ... a fast machine!). The animation is too sluggish, and I have to swipe too far (like, more than halfway across the trackpad). It's painful.

Make a placeholder list item during long undo operations
When you're a hard-core zero inboxer, you make archive/delete mistakes all the time - that means a lot of undoing. Of course I'm love archive/delete undo to be instant, but I get it, IMAP ain't that fast. But your current solution isn't good enough. Right now in beta 2.6, when I undo an archive, I absolutely no feedback that my action has been received. I've learned to wait about 3 seconds, but initially, I assumed the mac app was broken and I ended up hitting undo ten times, which lead to unwanted results. Instead, just put a placeholder message in…

Clicking on some messages opens a blank pane
Sometimes when I click on a message to read it Airmail opens the pane, displays the correct title and addresses, but the message body remains blank.
If I reply to the message, the body correctly appears quoted in the composer window.
If the message is part of the conversation, minimising and maximising will cause the message to appear. This seems to be happening with both my Exchange and Gmail accounts.

Better (faster) animations
Deleting several emails feels insanely sluggish because it does this swipe left animation which lasts about a second. So deleted 3 emails one by one goes from being a 1 second operation to being a 5 second operation.
Please either improve these animations or add a pref to disable them. I have zero interest in using swipes so I don't need the app to show this to me.

BUG: actions on single mail apply to full conversation
Airmail 3 for Mac v. 3.3.2
when opening a conversation, there's the actions on the top that should apply for the entire conversation.
When selecting a single message from the conversation, there's the same actions - just that they should only apply to that particular message. However, that distinction does not work.
I've single-moved the oldest message in a conversation to a folder - yet the whole conversation moves along.
I've single-deleted the most recent message in a conversation - yet the whole conversation goes to the trash can.
mailed this bug report to tech support, but no reply after…

Display labels automatically created by Gmail rules
When downloading new messages, Airmail does not seem to consistently display labels that are automatically created by Gmail's own rules. Other email apps such as Spark manage to do this, so it seems to be technically feasible.

Airmail messing up e-mail conversation mixing recent e-mails with old ones
For some reason, when I receive new e-mails, Airmail is showing old ones in the same conversation, even if it's not related at all (different sender). This is a very annoying bug, but doesn't prevent me for using any of it's features.
See the screenshot attached for more info.
