How can we improve Airmail?

improve contrast on sidebar of airmail 2

a few friends i have introduced to Airmail 2 have commented how hard it is to easily view details on the dark background of the sidebar as opposed to the clarity and detail easily viewed on airmail 1 and apple mail
maybe you can add a customisation so a change of colour / contrast could be available

    I want to change the colour on the big horrible black panel running down the left hand side that feature all the folders How can I change that panel to say blue ?

    I would much rather have a lighter background or, better yet, change the color to whatever I would like.

    Same request here. I read on the dark background okay, but it's a bit of work on the eyes to jump back and forth between it and the lighter area with the mails.

    Also would increase the size of the icons. The design was originally implemented in Sparrow and they did a really good job when choosing icon sizes in their layout (see here: http://postimg.org/image/ojiuae58d/)

    I also preferr the arrangemnt in Sparrwo which was topdown expanding so you had shorter navigation ways when switching accounts.

    It's almost unusable right now since I can't really see how many messages are located in under labels (or folders). Since I have filters that automatically move most messages from my inbox to labels, it's very difficult to process messages on iOS. At least I can see the counts and know which labels to select on a Mac, so that's my only solution at this point until this gets fixed on iOS so that I can read the sidebar labels and counts.

    It's a very good idea and i will sugest the same. Thank's for the Airmail team accept this. I just bought Airmail for iPhone 6 Plus and delete all other apps i was trying. Now i have the same app in Mac and iPhone. The best choice. Keep doing your best and you will the best a-mail app in apple store.

    I am working outside, usually on bright sun. Most of work I do in terminal with contrast light themes.

    It is okay to read airmail mails, but sidebar is almost invisible. I would vote for color-schemes or customisations.

    Agreed, can't see anything if there's any glare on screen, a common occurrence.

    I would also like a preference to change the background colour of the sidebar to improve contract. I also want to increase the font size.

    So this was "accepted" back in February. Is there any update on this?

    You can barely see the message as the text color is TOO light. Please either make it darker or have a setting to change the text color please. Light grey is very hard too read.

    this may be essentially the same as the request I just made to improve the color differentiation for the scrollbar
