Add a button to quickly delete emails from a conversation thread
I often delete emails from a conversation and only keep the relevant ones, it would be great to have an "X" button where the reply and reply-all icons are so that I can delete the email. Right now a bug when clicking the down arrow symbol and selecting "Move to trash", the thread goes away and I have to click away to a different folder and come back to inbox to see the remaining emails in the conversation if I deleted the latest one (say it was an out of office reply or non-relevant email).
Also I suggest implementing another idea someone posted to be able to expand the conversation to see individual messages on the left side pane instead of the inbox list and be able to select individual messages from there and delete them.

completely agree - this lack of functionality is almost debilitating, not to mention the time I wasted figuring out I could not do it.

I'm having this same bug. It's a pain not to be able to delete individual emails without losing the whole conversation?

I, also, would like to clearly see the individual messages. The "page-flow" view of an entire conversation is incredibly distracting when I want to delete parts of a conversation.

This is a feature that is currently implemented in Mail. I use it at work All. The. Time.
