Make search work at least as good as Mail.app
if i type "john server restart" search should bring up all emails that have those words in it, instead, it is looking for the exact phrase. this is sooo much less useful than Yosemite's built-in Mail.app right now. Please, focus on search for the next update. please. its really making me switch back to Mail.app

3.5.4 seems to have WORSE search function than earlier versions. The "To" has become worthless.

"Search" seems to have gotten _worse_ with last upgrade. The "To" results used to be similar to the "From" but now "From" actually lists particular people while "To" is useless, mumbly. Airmail really needs to improve this long deficient-- and apparently decaying-- feature.

New version out and still no progress in search... Can I do something to help you specify the problem? Still love Airmail but search engine cripples otherwise great app usability!

I also agree. re there any improvements in the pipeline? The search functionality is so bad as to render the app pretty unusable for me at least, seeing as I use search a lot rather than throw everything in different folders.

Also please enhance serch with local characters of different charsets.
I use english locale but frequently search with special characters (czech). Problem is that search in Airmail doesn't substitute characters as for example Apple Mail.app does.
See example:
I want to search for person/string "Tadeáš". Results are all the mails where local characters are used. But he also uses his name without local characters - "Tadeas" and those results are not shown.Is it possible to include character equivalence for non ASCII characters?
Example of character equivalence for "Tadeáš"/"Tadeas",
a <=> á
s <=> šreference: http://goo.gl/XFOTge

I agree, the search function in Airmail is not working AT ALL. It is completely useless! It is not even possible to search for a receiver and get the e-mail to that person, instead I get nothing or a lot of other results instead. This is a serious drawback for Airmail.
