Even when you mouse-over you can't see the icon on my Mac. Black on white would be better. This thread is years old.

this should not be difficult. contrast is terrible for certain elements in the sidebar. please get it done

Wow, another idea for basic functionality that's three (3) years old and still in the "Gathering Feedback" zone. I'm about ready to hack the app and figure this out, since it could be two more years before this happens.

If you must keep the black, at least match the shade of black to the one that Fantastical uses - having both of those apps open together feels like wearing a shirt that's faded slightly more than the matching pants.

ABSOLUTELYYYYYY!!!!!!! Please give some relief to trying to read dark colors on black background.....Had to use the flashlight on my Iphone to see the categories & folders.

Adding in Sidebar themes for sure; but I'm the reverse; I want it darker, it's gray not black. I'd actually like the whole app to be white on black background.

Agreed they should ditch the black background. Might sound wussy of me, but I'm prone to migraines and I specifically avoid reading website or apps that are white text on dark background. I just purchased the app, but unfortunately, this might be a deal breaker for me.

definitely we need to be able to customize the color of the left sidebar... my wife hates it and thats the only reason I can't get it to use airmail :(
