Add an integrated calendar to Airmail. Not just Sync with iCal or other calander apps
It would be great if you could add an integrated calendar to the app.
I use google calendar so at the moment I have to have iCal open synced with gmail as well as Airmail. I would prefer just an airmail calendar that could be linked with my gmail calendar.

or at least inprove how calendar invites appear. maybe something like auto rendering the calendar invite in the message preview, instead of relying spotlight preview

Hi there,
I'm looking for a replacement for Outlook, as .
The price is right and the app looks great, but personally calendar integration is important. I'd prefer one app that I can use between multiple devices. +1 for integrated calendar :D

I vote for this. Not having calendar integration is a downside.
To those voting against it saying that it's an email app, or apps should leverage existing functionality I say that adding a calendar doesn't mean you need to use it. If it adds 10Mb to the download size, hopefully you guys can accommodate it for all the people here who are saying it's useful. If you don't use the calendar integration, it'll just be like all the other in
I love the calendar integration that Outlook has. Being able to "send availability" or see if I'm open quickly is very useful.

Really an email client with a calendar is a necessity these days to manage all these calendar, webex, goto meeting etc. invites we get these days. If you don't need a calendar I can only suppose you are a stay at home mum.

This already exists: http://docs.airmailapp.com/airmail-for-mac/integrations/calendar-events-airmail-for-macos (and also for Fantastical: http://docs.airmailapp.com/airmail-for-mac/integrations/fantastical-airmail-for-macos)
Please DO NOT try to duplicate calendar functionality, like you do with Contacts (but shouldn't).

Please just allow us to pick which calendar to accept events to. Right now it seems the only way is to add to ical then sync to gsuite. I would prefer to turn off all my accounts in the appleverse just to keep things simple.

Absolutely vote against this. This is an email app, not a calendar app.

+1 from me - but ONLY if it talks to Hotmail/Outlook.com as well (unlike Calendar, Outlook Mac 2016 calendar etc), otherwise it doesn't add anything.

a Full Calendar integration is needed, is a day to day operation in most of jobs. I love airmail, but I will try another mail app, it´s a basic...

Any news on that dear Airmail team? Calendar is necessary when you deal with email, im suprised you did not think about it... guess I think you relaized it but some technical or agreement issues must be the reason...

Any word on this?
I use polymail, and just bought Airmail, and won't be able to continue to use it if I can't actually schedule things from the app.
Huge bummer.

Absolutely vote against this. Apps should seek to leverage and improve upon what's already in the platforms they support, not seek to replace them

why does Airmail not have an integrated calendaring facility? complete disappointment... not even a plugin available... :/

Was just about to post the same idea, so naturally I support this.
Including an integrated workflow/day schedule alongside it would make it incredibly useful.

Yes please. Add a better calender with full blown support for all major platforms.

Any calendar integration yet?

Yup, second the comment from someone who purchased this assuming it would have a calendar. Pretty vital and I don't want to have to shift to iCal.

I am happy with Airmail and the email functions, but had I realised beforehand that there is no Calendar integrated, I would probably not have bought the program.
When can we expect an update? -
