This would be a view that previews all attachments for an account.
I personally find hunting down attachments to be one of the most common (and most annoying) tasks when looking through my email.
A dedicated attachments view would solve this problem.
I'm not a fan of the Unibox email app, but... I have it installed for one purpose, attachments.
Clicking on a "user" allows you an attachment view where you can view all attachments from that user and filter by attachment type.
IMO, searching for attachments is the #1 most cumbersome email task I perform, and I do it a lot. I'd say 90% of the time I search my email it's to find an attachment.
Unibox is showing perfectly how too list and find attachments. Would be great to have something similar in Airmail.
I agree! Longer threads makes it hard to get to the attachment. A narrow panel / view at the top of the message, right below the message header panel and before the mail content would be ideal.
Also, it's annoying that attachments like .TXT or .XML files are shown in the mail body. When users submit log files, this is very annoying! At least provide an option to not expand/show the attachment content in the email body.
Thanks for considering!
An inspector pane, like Postbox has, would be awsome. When marking a mail or a conversation, the inspector pane shows relevant info like all attachements, images, links, adresses in a list from all the mails marked.
