AppleScript (or some other) Interface to interact with Airmail from outside the application
... so we can use Alfred Workflows, Keyboard Maestro Macros and other Automation stuff to be more efficient on our Macs.

Any news on this one? Still can´t find documentation... just two code snippets that don´t work.

I see that Airmail 3 supports AppleScript, but how does one find out how to use it? There doesn't seem to be any docs.
I'm trying to use a keyboard shortcut to assign the current message to a specific Label and Archive it.

Would very much like to see AScr beefed up. The app store version needs to be approved to run with the more major OS components like Finder without hitting sandbox restrictions - even that much would create a lot of capabilities for via working with attachments or saving emails to folders. More flexibility in automating compose, search and send from outside apps would be fantastic. I left Apple Mail due to it's unreliable AScr handling, would love to see Airmail lift in this space. It wouldn't be hard to do but at the moment it's much too limited.

This would still be nice! Some way to interact with the airmail database to use custom search.
For Mail.app an Alfred Workflow already exists, which is very nice. -

Get's another vote from me.
I use GeekTool to display number of unread messages and the subject of these messages on my desktop, very handy not having to check the mail client to see if I have unread mail. -
