Agree that Search functionality seems to be its biggest weakness. Coming from a PC to MAC, Outlook provided pretty good Search Folder functionality. I was able to find even much better use in Apple Mail. Apple Mail has its own limiatations but the Smart Folder design is really good. This product needs to have this ability to be 5+ star.

The filter menu in the mac app, has a date icon, click it and choose date or drag dates to filter. I would be nice if you could use the search box but once you "learn" to use the filter menu, life is good again :)

on MacOS the search by date range is already implemented (view/show filters) but that same feature is missing on iOS which is what I am looking for...

Search can play significant role in email client. Search needs to be made more powerful and this particular idea is towards that. I second this idea

Yup. I'm new to Airmail and the weakness of its search functionality is giving me some buyer's remorse. Also, search in a folder, search with parameters such as "unread" and "has attachment," etc.
Other than that, it seems like a great product.
