Synchronise rules Outlook/Gmail/etc
I've been using Airmail instead of the Mac Mail or Outlook (itself) to read and write messages using my business Outlook account.
Recently I was trying to add a new filter rule for some messages and when I opened the "Rule Manager" tadah! I just noticed that, event though rules are working (what means messages are been placed on the right folders as I set it for), there's not rules in there!
Airmail isn't reading the list of rules I've set on my outlook account and, because that, I suppose that even though I set a new rule for something using Airmail, that rule will be only local available.
I wish I could use Airmail to manage the rules I've set on my account.
Is that possible?

This is a brilliant idea. Granted, each system's email rules engine is entirely different, so you'd have to either make your rule system flexible to handle translation between others, as well as translate how to handled each system rulesets. Since your main user base is GMail users, I suggest starting there. Also, this might be something that is handled completely differently than the AirMail rules. You don't want rules to cause ciklkisions by doing the same thing, nor would you want rules "fighting" to try to do opposing things. In this case you would need something to catch if something appears to be looping and grant the use the option to abort after 10 cycles... or less if the it takes a while to run. Yes, I do think each rule manager would have to be handled separately, but by putting the interface to each one in AirMail means setting GMail rules from mail in Airmail 3 would be golden. It would speed up productivity tremendously and help get a handle on overstuffed mailboxes!
