Default Account for Reply when multiple accounts feed into the same inbox
Airmail 3.0.1 provides the option to use the selected account as the default reply account. Unfortunately, this option does not work adequately with forwarded email.
For example: I have multiple email accounts (hypothetically, firstname.lastname@example.org and email@example.com) that are forwarded to one address (again hypothetically, firstname.lastname@example.org); i.e., all of my emails to the various accounts are redirected to email@example.com's inbox. Now, if I want to reply to an email that was sent to firstname.lastname@example.org, I want to use email@example.com as the default sender; unfortunately, because the email is sitting in firstname.lastname@example.org's inbox, Airmail selects email@example.com as the default sender.
Can I please get more info on this, as well? I've purchased the app for Mac, and this is a big one.
