Transfer or Clone the emails to Local Account When the Original Mail Server is retired or permenantly taken offline
Hello,
I have an IMAP account. Recently the mail server has been changed and we do not have backup except what I have it in the Airmail itself. I have created a local account and tried to transfer the mails to the Local Account. It seems the Airmail is trying to establish a communication with the Original Mail Server and timing out. Hence the Transfer is getting failed. I think this is a series design flaw and it needs to be addressed. Somewhere in the preference the mail server can be marked as Retired or something and it should allow the transfer of the mails to the local account to preserve the mails.
Hope it should get implemented in the upcoming versions....

Still not woring! I just started using Airmail, and while I was able to transfer a message to another account in the first couple of days, I haven't been able to do it since. I wish there were an alternative method, like dragging -- that doesn't seem to work, either, although it seems logical that we should be able to drag a message to the account icon on the left and move it to another account. Very frustrating.

BTW, transferring or cloning to any other account is not working. Not just to local accounts.

Same problem here! Would really appreciate a fix as currently there is no good way to backup my old mails. Makes me nervous :)
