Restore the "Directional Selection" option in Airmail 3
It used to be possible in Airmail 2 to select this in preferences (which option took me ages to find in the first place!). Now if I start deleting messages from oldest first, the message automatically moves down rather than up the list, which is really irritating!

I, too, have to drop Airmail for Spark due to the lack of this feature...it is very disruptive to delete a message, have the previous message (already read) selected, then have to move to the next unread message.
So strange that the product had this flexibility, then lost it. PLEASE bring it back so I can switch back to Airmail.

Please restore this option...I left Airmail for Spark because it has the option...have to stay with Spark until Airmail restores this feature!

YES! Please return this directional selection option to Airmail 3. It's is irrational to allow "Last message received to be dealt with first." Otherwise, you have to go to the last message you have not viewed and then continually and very inefficiently have to REPEATEDLY move the cursor up to the new 'unread' message.

Yes, that would be great!

I have exactly the same problem. The "Directional selection" used to be in Preferences>Appearance, but it vanished... Where have you hidden it now?
