I would very much like this feature too. I love the delay functionality generally, but sometimes when on the phone with someone, you do want to send an email "now" !

I like to live dangerously.

I have set it so that my mails will be delayed for two minutes. Normally, those two minutes won't really matter and the cooling down time is great for those "Oh I forgot to add that to the mail"-type situations. But like others have said, sometimes I'm on the phone and want to send someone somethine right now so we can discuss it. Then, it's a bit of a hassle to have to change my settings, and then afterwards change them back again, to do this

Completely agree. Most emails can wait for the "cooling off" period, but especially if I'm on the phone with someone it is quite annoying not to have an override.

I would like this feature as well. One minute is a great cooling off period, but not when someone is on the phone waiting!

I agree strongly!! Please create this functionality. Usually I want to delay send, but when I'm on the phone with someone who's waiting for something I often would like to send right away. Also useful when I want to ping someone to call me right away.
