Improve the share links in Airmail so I don't get this error, "Word was unable to mail your document. Please make sure your mail..."
When creating a Word document in Outlook 2016 for Mac, there is the ability to "share" the document with other people by email. The steps are File > Share > Send Document. But every time I do this I get this error, "Word was unable to mail your document. Please make sure your mail program is configured correctly and that you can send mail with it." when Airmail 2 is set as the default mail application. I do NOT get this same error when I select Mac Mail or Outlook as the default mail client. This is a very big set back as I share many files this way. Please help.

this is due other apps implementaion.

Allow me to add to the chorus here. Love Airmail3, but cannot share documents via Airmail through Word, even though Airmail is my default email client (set through Mail preferences, as directed). As others have noted, this is very disruptive for my work flow and I would so appreciate a fix so I can keep using Airmail!

I am having the same problem. Will move back to apple mail until this issue is solved as it prevents working normally. Any chance to get a refund until this problem is solved? Loved airmail, but currently is not useful for me

Oh, man. I used AirMail years ago. It seemed "not quite ready." I finally escaped Windows-land and got back to my beloved OSX world. I checked out Airmail 2. Gorgeous! YES! Now, when trying to share Word and Powerpoint docs, as the others here are saying, it fails. Please don't make me go back to Apple Word, and forget about Outlook. You guys are almost completely the answer. Can you fix this?

This is a make or break issue for me. I share documents from Word constantly, and this is causing problems with my workflow. I have switched back to Apple Mail for now just for this reason, but I would most prefer to use Airmail if possible. I like the program, but this issue will prevent me from using it. Can someone please respond with an answer?

I have the same problem. When Airmail 2 is set as default and is closed, then clicking on share as you say WILL invoke Airmail 2 (application) but then the process fails - i.e. it will NOT open a compose window and attach the document as it would within Mail.app.
So the process falls part way through. If I change the default mail app back to Mail.app (or Outlook) the functionality works. Conclusion: there is something within Airmail 2 that is not working correctly here.
For reference: CTRL-clicking on a file from Finder and choosing Airmail Share works just fine. The process that's failing is from within an MS Office App using the Share button (top right).
Please help as this is a significant issue in terms of workflow (I share documents like this all the time). Thanks
