Improve the share links in Airmail so I don't get this error, "Word was unable to mail your document. Please make sure your mail..."
When creating a Word document in Outlook 2016 for Mac, there is the ability to "share" the document with other people by email. The steps are File > Share > Send Document. But every time I do this I get this error, "Word was unable to mail your document. Please make sure your mail program is configured correctly and that you can send mail with it." when Airmail 2 is set as the default mail application. I do NOT get this same error when I select Mac Mail or Outlook as the default mail client. This is a very big set back as I share many files this way. Please help.

I have this problem and am going to contact Apple as this app was 'recommended' by the Editor of the Apple App Store.

I love the response "this is due to other apps implementation" when they are referring to the niche, hardly used apps created by that small software company called Microsoft. I think not working properly with Microsoft Office is an issue worth looking into!
Airmail is so nearly great, but I still run with Mail open in parallel to get round these sorts of issues. The other one is writing mails on a plane on Airmail- and then watching them get totally stuck in the Outbox -

Usine Airmail 3 for the first time. I use i-books to store pdf's. Cant seem to email them via Airmail.

Crazy that this isn't supported. For me this is a base requirement. I'd like to get a refund--how is that possible? Need to switch to another app.

Problem still exists, this is definitely something that needs to be addressed. It's quite interruptive to a workflow throughout the day.

Just asked this question to Airmail support, here, and received this answer (Dec 21, 2016): I am sorry, but Airmail can not share using MS apps. Unfortunately, this is not on our end so we can not do anything for this issue."
That's unfortunate and I guess I will have to work around it.

It seems as if this problem also occurs if Apple Mail or Thunderbird is the standard mail client ....
But anyhow, I would love to have this solved.
