when will this fixed, so thats a nogo....

Amazing that absolutely basic functionality like this is missing. After several months of also struggling with the search functionality, which stopped working entirely about a month before the last release and now is just lousy, I'm giving up and switching to another client. I understand developing software is hard, but when I company refuses to recognize that stuff like this isn't OK, we're throwing our money away on them.

This is a major drawback for some users, most likely power-users who have higher chance of becoming evangelists for this product. Why can't you let us embed images if you're already integrating with bunch of cloud storages?

Still haven't fixed this? What's so hard about adding a menu option in the email drop-down menus? This seriously makes it a hassle every time I get many photos emailed...dragging one photo into a folder isn't a big deal...when there are thirty attached, it makes me not want to use this software any more.

Stupidest lack of feature ever, just crazy...! Makes it totally impossible to use for images. If not fixed really soon I will get back to Apple Mail for sure!

Agree. Saving attachments and embedded images is a nightmare: you need to click around several times and can only download one file at a time. I haven't found a way to "save all images" like in Apple Mail to my gallery. Or else I have to go to attachments in Airmail which makes me waste time.

I'm ready to ditch this app after the first email. A client sent me a white logo as a transparent PNG. I told them I didn't get the file because I couldn't tell there was an attachment. White on white = invisible. I went back to Apple Mail and it showed me there was an attachment and allowed me to download it without clicking around the message window hoping to hit it. Like everyone else I'm baffled that this problem exists in version 3.x of the program.

This is awful. I too may have to go back to Apple Mail.

I own a printing company and I receive several emails a day with attached graphic files for printing. Apple Mail easily let me save these files to the appropriate job folder. With Airmail no way. I never would have purchased this program if I had known of this terrible programming flaw.

Today I received a jpg attachment. The attachment was displayed in the message window. I don't know if the save buttons were obscured or for some reason they were not there. I had to right click on the attachment and choose Display in Finder. An undetermined Finder window opened with the attachment, but it had a very long cryptic file name. I was able to drag it into the job folder, but I still didn't know the name of the file which makes it impossible to discuss the job with the client. I finally had to fire up Apple Mail and download the message to save it properly.

I will be giving Airmail a very bad revies.

This is crazy .. I've switched to airmail just couple days ago and only now realized I'm unable to do one thing I do pretty much every day, and that is drag photos from an email into my photo collection :-/ Somebody must have tried 'really hard' to design the message viewer in this way ...

I agree. The inline images are annoying. There's nothing I can do with them and it just makes more work for me. It's actually annoying enough that I would switch to another program.

I agree, this is the feature that makes me switch back to apple mail.
