Add the ability to export local folders to mbox format
Need the ability to export folders from a local account together with their subfolders and all included messages to mbox format supported by several other email clients and by email migration applications such as Emailchemy.
Having such an export capability from a local account is key to avoid being "trapped" to Airmail:
Without the certainty that I will be able to export all my email archive from Airmail should I want/need to do it someday, I will not migrate (even if Airmail suits all my other needs).

This feature is essential. My current version of Airmail (420) fails to obtain more than about 1% of messages from our IMAP server. I'm cut off from years of stored messages. I can see them in Apple Mail or a web client, but then I'm cut off from the local Airmail stored messages until I can export them. I like Airmail but this is a total killer.

Absolutely agree. As much as I am impressed by Airmail so far, it is a deal breaker for me if I am trapped. If you use your own data format, you have to let people get out as well.

Totally agreed. As also stated in the "import/export to PST" idea, this is crucial for so many of us that use a hierarchical folder structure to save email. Yes, we can probably now start saving emails under Archive on IMAP and Exchange accounts, but we already have GBs of historical email where that was not a possibility and thus is saved in local folders. Also important: preserving the hierarchy of folders on both import and export. Thanks for listening...
