Fonts for Reading Messages
Please provide us with the option to change reading fonts and resize them. The default is very large compared to everything else I use. As a result, reading my email also requires needless scrolling.
Thanks!

possibility to deactivate features for a better overview
If you right click on a mail you have al lot of features.
If you could hide some of them you don't use (e.g. send to Thing, Services, Flags...) you can have a much more better UI for your own use.69 votes -
Localise snooze
The snooze buttons are not translated in dutch.
But more importantly the snooze calendar (when you opt for pick a date) is not localized. Sunday is not the start of the week in Europe, it is monday. I always choose the wrong day when I browse in the calendar.Btw. The snooze functionality is really great!

Reverse the chronological order of messages in a conversation.
Reading a conversation in reverse chronological order makes my brain hurt. Every other email client that supports threaded conversations, places the latest email at the bottom of the conversation. Then it automatically scrolls to the bottom of the view when opening the conversation.
It would make reading conversations with multiple replies a lot easier to follow if they where listed in the order they came in.

Improve startup time
It takes forever for Airmail 3.0.1 to startup on my MacBook Pro running El Capitan. Time is waisted for up to 5 minutes waiting for messages to load.
I;ve done everything from following the tips here:
https://medium.com/@Airmail/how-to-speed-up-your-airmail-initialization-f7662cfbeef7#.68h7nhifeas well as uninstalling & reinstalling Airmail. It's still slow & very frustrating,

Ability to change message preview lines from none to 4 (like on iOS)
The iOS version allows you to change the preview from no lines to 4. I feel one line gives a much cleaner look but this isn't an option in any of the themes.

allow change account font color
This was available in Airmail 2, MacOS (10.10.5), and is an option that doesn't work in Airmail 3. Specifically, under accounts, using the gear icon to change the icon works. There is the option to change the font color - doesn't work in this new version. Saved multiple times to no avail. Problem is the color is too low contrast to easily determine which account I'm in. Please fix.

Push Notifications when application in closed [Desktop]
Add the possibility to receive push notifications from Airmail even when the client is closed (like Spark).

Hide message preview in new email notification
It would be great to have the message preview hidden in the notification alert. Not that it shows a large portion of the email, but I do work on my computer around others and just having the subject appear would help with confidentiality a bit better.

Manual Configuration of Office365 Account Fails Because of Autodiscover
When adding an Exchange account, originally Autodiscover fails after a few minutes because it tried to find an Exchange server at the TLD. However, that domain name's e-mail is hosted by Office365. After failing the first time, Airmail then asks for a server, which is outlook.office365.com. Clicking "Add," again, I get the same error: "Autodiscover Failed."
Attached is a screenshot of the error. The e-mail address is not @hotmail.com, @outlook.com, or any of the free Microsoft e-mail offerings.

Yandex Mail
Hey!
Your app is great, thanks.
My tip is that: Consider adding Yandex.Mail accounts — its crucial thing for many users from Russia and CIS, becuase Yandex here is very popular, and many users here have Yandex.Mail accounts as well as Gmail and others. Thanks!

Open links behind airmail OR in front
Prefs allow to select whether links in messages should open a browser directly or behind airmail.
My request would be to allow this to be controlled on an individual level as in Apple Mail. Set one option as the general preference, allow the other via right click (or something).
It seems like a small thing but it is actually the one thing that is keeping me in Apple Mail!
And it seems easy to implement?12 votes -
Allow an alias to use the same signature as the account it's under.
Allow an alias to use the same signature as the account its under. Currently only the added account uses a custom signature. A created alias should be able to use it as well rather than the default.

Zoom level on replies
Right now you can set a zoom level for viewing the emails and the main interface. However on reply, forward, etc. the new window is open with the default (100%?) zoom setting. It would be nice if the reply window would have the same zoom as the main window/interface.
Thanks!

Airmail deleting Gmail signature
Ever since downloading the iOS Airmail, the iOS app and Mac app have both constantly been deleting my Gmail signature within minutes of me adding it. This is a business email and I MUST have a signature. I absolutely cannot use Airmail while this keeps happening.
I have submitted multiple support tickets and have so far been ignored. This is unacceptable.
I have tried deleting the account off Airmail entirely and starting over, the problem persists.
I'm going back to Apple Mail. I've been an Airmail user for a long time but you've lost a fan.

set airmail as standard
Simple Button within the Preferences Menu to set Airmail as the standard mail program for mac. It is quite annoying to click on an email address (especially within Airmail) and then Apple Mail pops up and wants to send that mail for you...

New Mail Sounds Only
Please add the ability to enable sounds for new mail messages only!
I want to hear when a new message arrives, but in doing so, I don't want to have to hear all the other sounds in the app, which are extraneous, in my opinion.

Previewing a message doesn't mark as read
Hi,
I would like a 'mark as read' option similar to 'mark on click,' except that it doesn't mark the next message as read when you archive a message.
The current set of options don't have a middle ground between 'mark on click' and 'opening the message.'
The workflow I imagine is one where when I archive a message I can choose to either click on the next message I want to read (so I'm not forced to read the immediate next message in the list) or I can click on that same message in the list or click inside…
