Font size control
I can find no way to permanently set larger display fonts. On my 27" retina display, the fonts are painfully small. I'm considering giving up on the app entirely because of this basic, simple problem. Please, give us a way to set ALL font sizes in the app (display, in-message, everything).

Tagging
There is an app called MailTags for Apple Mail. It allows you to enter a keyword for every mail you receive. That keyword then appears in the sidebar and lets you easily sort your emails by different keywords as well as use those keywords for search.
Would be great if you could integrate this kind of tagging into Airmail

Read Receipts / Tracking Notification Every time email is opened
I like how the 'Read Receipt' works, however, I do not like how it only shows a receipt the first time the recipients opens the email. Rather, I believe that the user should receive a notification every time the user opens the email. As an everyday user or even a sales professional, it would showcase that the email is being read, but no response has been given. It might spark to send a quick follow up sparking a response.

Add support for Gmail Categories
Add support for Gmail auto-labels / Categories;
ie: Social, Promotions, Updates, Forums and work the way gmail does by hiding messages that fall into those categories from the main inbox.

Please Allow Customization of the Condensed Sidebar
I'd like customization options for the sidebar in condensed view. Currently, in normal view, you can customize your favorites, or the folders that appear in the sidebar. In condensed view, though, only the default favorites show. I'd like to be able to see my chosen favorites only in the condensed sidebar, rather than the favorites chosen by default.

Password protected inbox
I have kids, and i get mails that i want to "hide" from the kids and anyone else that i don't want to read my private mails, lets say from my lawyer. I would love to see a feature where you can password protect the whole app or just the inboxes, like i could chose to keep my iCloud inbox "open" but my Outlook inbox password protected. Been searching for mail clients that can do this but no success so far.

Follow-up reminders - so much room for improvement!
Love that we can set follow-up reminders to outgoing email in the event of a non-reply. However, the execution of the idea, in my opinion, leaves something to be desired:
1 - please arrange for the reminders to be moved automatically when the email is answered. Needing to do this manually, remembering which emails have been answered, is unnecessarily time- and energy-consuming.
2 - please use clearer flags for emails that have gone unanswered. I know we receive a notification each time the deadline passes, but this hovers in the top right corner of the screen for a few seconds…

read reciepts
Add Track (read receipts) like iOS has. Very annoying to have to use my phone to send emails with tracking.

Automatically BCC self when composing email
I auto-bcc myself on emails to ensure it is delivered correctly. Thunderbird and Apple Mail support this option, but Airmail doesn't

Enable editing via ResEdit
I'd love to see Airmail adopt the necessary APIs and tools to support ResEdit for greater UI customization. This would give me the ability to make the app look exactly how I want. This feature would be difficult to implement, as ResEdit was discontinued when OS9 was no longer supported, but with the proper emulation, I'm sure you could get it up and running- perhaps you could even include an OS9 emulator in Airmail itself! I'd love to use AppleWorks again, as I'm sure would everyone else too.

Feature request: Unified labels
I would appreciate 'unified labels' (or unified folders), in addition to unified inboxes. Airmail already has the foundation for this. More specifically, we just need to be able to customize the current 'To Do/Done/Memo/etc' with the ability to add/delete/rename our own custom labels. Our email account specific labels or folders can be mapped to these unified custom labels. Boxer Pro (iOS) does this and it has changed my workflow permanently.

Trial Version would be great
Sure would be great to have a trial version to see if the product suits my needs. While it sounds amazing, I'm not a fan of paying for something I haven't had the chance to test drive. :D

Add a reminder to an already sent mail
The reminders feature is an integral part of my workflow to track follow-ups, a great feature.
What is missing is the ability to add a reminder to an already sent mail as well as the ability to modify or delete an existing reminder, shouldn't be a biggie I suppose and is integral to the usability of this feature.

Keyboard shortcuts for navigating a conversation
I suggest some enhancements to keyboard shortcuts for navigating conversations. This would complement the 'n' and 'p' navigation options that already exist.
';' to expand all messages in the conversation
':' to collapse all messages in the conversation, except the most recent.
'x' or '<space>' to toggle expansion of the currently selected message
- same as clicking on the Subject line doesI think Airmail is a great client & it has been a lifesaver since my employer switched to o365.
Thanks!

Option to include forwarded messages in conversation thread
When forwarding a message, the forwarded mail is not included in the conversation thread (unless the option "Group by Subject" is activated, which is unhandy as it simply lumps everything together which has the same subject - not helpful when there are multiple conversation with the same subject.
Hence an option would be desirable to allow a user to choose whether forwarded messages should be included in the conversation from which they have been forwarded or not.
