Search Snoozed Emails
Snoozed emails seem to be unsearchable using the search function. I've tried searching for "label: snooze" or "label: later" (my snooze folder) and that doesn't return any results.
I would like to be able to search (and setup a smart folder) that includes emails in my inbox and snoozed. Using a label would be fine, or "IN: Snooze" would also be great.
Thanks!

Include attachment content in search results
Include text-based documents (doc, txt, pdf, etc) in the search index. So when a search query appears inside an attached document, it shows up in the search results, this could be made optional via a checkbox.
Ideally the search results would show the context of the searched query inside each matched result and when clicked, it would show the document where the matched search query is highlighted.
Gmail already has this functionality but due to privacy concerns I'd rather use my own IMAP and mail client.

search
I bought Airmail 3 for Mac and there is something that really breaks my workflow.
After performing a search, the search box is automatically cleared and the filters are gone, thus presenting the origin inbox. This is really annoying. I loose a lot of time researching.

Search same recipient icon in sent box
When you search in the sent box using the target icon, you get the same sender, i.e. all the mails... it should be same recipient instead so you can see all mails sent to one single person

Automatically search in unread mails
It's just a small detail but I usually have the filter for unread emails active as a standard. When I use the search, it thus only searches among unread emails which makes no sense in most cases. Would be nice if search automatically searches all mails.

Search engine that works
This is the worst search engine I've ever used. I have to search through all my emails to find the one I'm looking for. I don't like Apple mail so I'm going to have to find another that works. How can they possibly release and an email program with a horrible search engine?

Improve smart folders by allowing users to combine several folders/labels
The whole point of smart folders is to be able to combine search criteria to view the contents of many folders. Documentation for smart folders states that "Google Advanced Search Operators" are supported and even shows booleans being used for from:, so it would be great if they could they could be used for labels, i.e. combine several folders in a search.

Search fixed when unread flag is on
When you try to search when you have "Sort by Unread" on, the results are in backwards order or something. In whichever way the results appear, it does not seem purposeful. It would be helpful if it was same as "Sort By Date", except maybe showing the unread items first.

Make the MOVE search bar search all text in label
When I press V to move the selected mail to a label, there is a search box that pops up, which is extremely helpful. But it only search if you type in the exact name in chronological order.
If I had a label called "3233 Job Name" it would be great if I could type in "Job" and it would show up. Right now I have to type in "3233 Jo..." to see it.

Updated search functionality went backwards
Since updating the app to version 3 I'm no longer able to inuitively search. I usually search for a specific word in an email and then either a sender, or folder. Since updating I seem to be able to search only one of those things. Either a sender or a label. But if I search for multiple terms there's no option to also search in a certain label.
What happened!?

Advanced Search in Airmail is SERIOUSLY lacking. Several critical issues that need to be addressed
1-The search bar needs enough space to have at LEAST 3 or 4 arguments,... currently can only do 1!,.. maybe 2 if they are short. Possibly a separate dropdown menu for this would help.
2-We need Exclusive results!,.. If I want to search for email that I sent to a contact and ONLY that contact I currently can't do that. The results that come up shows that same person even if others are involved!!!
3-We need Exclusive results again!... If i want to search emails whose subject starts with "C " (that's the letter C then space) i can't do…

Just a small issue about label - when you select a message and if the label starts with a number, you can't find a part of label with alpha
Just a small issue about label - when you have selected a message (after using the shortcut - right arrow for exemple of a or "L" letter ) and if the label starts with a number (0- dummy), it's not possible to find a part of label by entering alpha text like the real search function of label in the left pannel. Is it possible to correct that ?

Sort by search relevance
As someone who bases a lot on his email organization on powerful search, being able to sort the search by relevance is really important when you have thousands and thousands of emails.
Also, this would be a great improvement over what GMail offers. Thunderbird (and thus Postbox) has this.

Search e-mail receiver in the Sent folder when clicking "bulls eye"
When I am in the Sent-folder and have a mail selected and click the Bulls eye-icon on top, I want Airmail to search all e-mail sent to that receiver. Today Airmail gives me all mail that I have sent, which is useless, since I usually have sent all the mail in the Sent-folder.
As it is now the Bulls eye-icon is useless in the Sent-folder.

search for more than one word at a time without a return
If I put two words into the search box, I get no results. I can only use more than one word in a search if i hit return between the two words.
Example: [Kayla invoice] has no results (neither does [invoice kayla])
But, if I type invoice (hit return) and then kayla(hit return)
I get the proper results. I think it's fine to add the modifier option drop down after the search just in case I want to designate Kayla as the sender, for example. But assume if I enter two words in the search box I want them both…

Clear search with single click
When search field is deselected, in order to clear search criteria, it requires two clicks, once to select search field, second to click on X to clear query. Would be great if this were a single click.
