  1. send mail and postpone conversation

when I send a reply and postpone conversation immediately it pops up in my inbox and postpone is canceled. It's because mail is sent after postponing and due to new activity in the conversation postpone does not occur. It would be great to have a new button to send mail immediately and postpone occurs succesfully

  2. Check for mail before sending

Gmail messages often fail until manually checking for new messages then re-sending. Please add the option to do this automatically, and enable it by default for gmail accounts.

  3. Huge bug with GSuite sending mail

AirMail seems to have a huge bug with sending emails via GSuite accounts. About 90% of the time an outgoing email fails to send and ends up in my drafts folder. Asking it to send again works 100% of the time. I've tried Apple Mail. This bug never occurs in Apple Mail or other clients.

I'm happy to send debug logs.

  5. Add Send Again to the failed sended email and Send Now for the pending one

Hi, Currently why I must to open again the failed sended email then pressing send button, Why there is for example a button with send again to the Right click on that email without going in, I think it will be a nice UX Idea, Also for the pending email i think send now button to Right Click will be a great.

  6. Enable Power Nap So Scheduled Emails Go Out When Scheduled For Future Date (When Mac is Sleeping)

If you schedule your emails with Send Later (i.e. tomorrow morning at 8 a.m.), the emails aren't sent unless computer is awake and active. If you were able to integrate Power Nap (or sync to online server), emails would go out on schedule, even if computer with Airmail App is sleeping.

  7. Change account based on who you are sending to (email address history).

There are some existing ideas that come close to this idea, but not exactly. I would like the account I am sending from to automatically switch based on who I am sending my email to. For example, if I am sending an email to my friend Dan (dan@gmail.com), I want it to be sent from my personal Gmail account. If I am sending an email to a partner or employee, I want the email to be sent from my business account.

The way this would work is look back (or record) the mapping of from which account to…

  9. "Send again" command should autofill the recipient field correctly

The "Send Again" command currently has a bug. It autofills the "Recipient" field with MY e-mail address, instead of the original recipient's address.

  10. Trying to forward a local draft before it's been sent causes an inescapable error message

I replied to an email and my reply appeared in the Sent list. It was still in "Local Draft" form because it hadn't actually gone yet. I clicked on it and hit the F key to forward it to a colleague and I got an error message stating the file didn't exist. That's fine but clicking OK didn't clear the message. I couldn't Quit either, I had to Force Quit.

No biggie, easy to avoid in future. Just letting you know.

  11. Reply from original reciepient alias address when replying to mailing lists

I've two aliases for my gmail account: @gmail.com, @mydomain.com.
When I reply to a message sent to one of the two aliases airmail uses the correct address but if the message is sent from a mailing list, it replies with the default address.

For example: I receive a mail from ml@mydomain.com, airmail reply with my @gmail.com aliases.

    Thank you

  13. Received source message are unreadable

Received source message are unreadable. Why?
It happens when message are sent by exchange.
By gmail everything works well and you can see the plain and the html text in the raw source.

I can't explain myself why this sh*t happens...

  14. Default "Send Later" during out of office/business hours

"Send Later" is a valuable tool for teams that have flexible working arrangements. Just because Im sending an email now doesn't mean I expect someone to reply out of hours. By sending the email during business hours removes that sense of guilt some people feel by not responding to out of hours emails.

It would be great if we could setup a "Default" schedule where any email written in the defined "out of hours" e.g. 10:00pm->7:00am defaulted to "Send Later" to the end time (in this example 7:00am).

The behaviour would be that during normal hours emails default to send…

  15. Send and Archive when replying to messages already with a label issues

When you reply to an email in a label folder, the 'Send and Archive' removes that label instead of just ignoring it, which is what I thought would happen.

This also happens if you accidentally swipe right to archive.

Surely, all you want these functions to do is to remove the 'inbox' label, if there is one, or just ignore if not?

  18. Send delayed message immediately

With delayed sending enabled, outgoing messages sit in Drafts during the delay. Allow me to right-click on one of these and choose "Send Immediately" to zero out the delay. There are plenty of messages that I know I want to send right away, but no way to expedite them without turning off the feature entirely.

  19. Gmail Alias

I use a gmail alias to send email, but each time the email is received by a Windows Outlook client the receiver has a kind of a loading bar and can see the original gmail address connected to the alias.
I don't have the same issue using Apple Mail or the Airmail 2 iOS client.

  20. Need a popup window when email isn't sent.

Several times now I've had problems sending mail due to one reason or another. But instead of giving me a popup window letting me know there's a problem, outgoing emails quietly get dumped in the drafts folder. A simple popup warning window would be next to life changing.
