move emails to folder should always remove all all copies
You copy emails to a folder (copy from folder X --> Y). Now you go to folder Y and want to remove the copied which are inside folder X, it would be super handy if you can do this from folder Y with the command "move to folder Y".
So far you can only go back to folder X and select all mails which were copied and then say from there "move to folder Y". This can be very ugly if you copied many emails over time.1 vote -

Auto-archive answered calendar invites
Calendar integration in AirMail for Mac 3.0 is great! I would love it if calendar invitation emails would auto-archive once I respond to the invitation.
In other words, after selecting Accept/Maybe/Decline, the invitation gets archived. And perhaps there's a short grace period (Archive in 3... 2... 1... poof!) during which I can change my response, in case I clicked the wrong button at first!

email accounts only for sending mails
I tried Airmail which is better than Thunderbird. I forward all emails from other accounts to my gmail account. When replying to those emails out of Thunderbird it uses the original outbound email service.
Unfortunately, in Airmail I cannot create email account only with an SMTP server only.
Therefore, I would like to see this feature in Airmail as well

move email to last local folder used
With a large number of local folders, going through the entire classification tree for every single email which should end up in the same local folder is boring... (for example one original email and its answer are in two separate Imap folders : Incoming mail and Sent. I cannot select them at the same time and direct them to the same local folder once treated...
Mail.app has this function : "move to the last folder used", and once a series of email is treated, sending all the series of emails to the "last folder used : XXX" would save time.2 votes -
Support for gmail superstars
I'm not sure how much this feature is still used by the majority of gmail users. I do have a pretty idiosyncratic way of organising my inbox.

Archive Messages from Inbox on a Schedule
Email quickly becomes stale, can we have a feature that labels specific messages and archives them on a schedule as opposed to immediately.
For example, maybe I want to archive all of my Read Inbox messages on a rolling 90 days or maybe I want specifically Archive all of my Calendar Notifications at the end of the day (they are useless after the meeting.)

Delete without read the email
Sometimes I want to delete emails without opening the content, right now if I right clicked the email then this is opened automatically. I would love to have the option of deleting the email without showing the content (triggering some actions that the email could have behind)

Features from Email - EasilyDo Mail
Really needing lots of features from the recently released EasilyDo Mail app in the iphone app store (https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/email-easilydo-mail/id922793622?mt=8). Specifically categorizing Trips/Bills/Packages/Entertainment etc. and the ability to unsubscribe from email subscriptions without leaving the app. I'm extremely conflicted and almost ready to switch just for the ability to unsubscribe from junkmail very easily. Please make this a feature!

Adding an IMAP account includes previously created folders and subfolders
Just purchased and installed Aairmail Mac 2.0 and can't use as my godaddy IMAP accounts are not showing the folders I maintain (created in webmail or apple mail). Airmail needs to read this directly from the server and automatically add to the sidebar.

Password protected inbox
I have kids, and i get mails that i want to "hide" from the kids and anyone else that i don't want to read my private mails, lets say from my lawyer. I would love to see a feature where you can password protect the whole app or just the inboxes, like i could chose to keep my iCloud inbox "open" but my Outlook inbox password protected. Been searching for mail clients that can do this but no success so far.

Add "unread" as a search option for smart folders
"Unread" isn't a search option, so we can't integrate it into a smart folder. This is valuable, for example, to set a workflow where i can find unread or starred items to a particular address. I use this in Apple Mail instead of my inbox and thus I see all new messages, or ones I've flagged for later.

Customizable Swipe Gestures
Since "Editable gestures" was marked as done although it clearly isn't, I'm bringing this topic up again. I would like to have the same options as on iOS or at least 1 option for each side (for example left: snooze, right: archive).

Editing Received & Sent Emails
My favorite feature in the Postbox (Thunderbird-based) email client is the ability to edit the body of a text. I often add "notes" to myself within the body and then I can see my "notes" from any device or email client. This would be an excellent power user feature.

Place Airmail link in 2Do callback URL action instead of in note
On Mac, presently when you link an Airmail email to 2Do, the call-back URL to Airmail is placed in the 2Do's memo instead of in the 2Do URL link.
My request is to modify the 2Do call-back URL call so that the Airmail:// call-back link is actually placed in the 2Do URL link instead of in the memo.
It would be super if this support was also added in the iOS app too and a keyboard shortcut key was provided in the iPad iOS app to enable this feature (power user workflow).
Example proposed URL:
twodo://x-callback-url/add?task=Airmail%20Task&action=url:ENCODEDURLGOES_HEREReference:

Message filing support
I use GTD principles and as I define my actions outside an mail app (think Things or OmniFocus), the end result is often a message filed (or moved) to specific folder. I want this to happen as quickly as possible. It would be cool when Airmail had a filing toolbar (much like MailHub plugin for Apple Mail ... or like ClearContext for Outlook).
needed functionality:
* smart folder suggestion (where I have filed this person's/email list's/etc email's before)
* filing account (into which account I file my emails)
* possibility to file whole conversation
* possibility to open filing folder…37 votes -
Block tracking pixels
Add the ability to block email tracking pixels, similar to PixelBlock Chrome extension for Gmail.
