  1. Configuration option to control number of blank lines below cursor

When replying to an email, there are multiple lines of spacing put between the cursor and the quoted text. The same is true when a signature is used; a large amount of space put between the cursor and the signature. I like to keep my messages compact and not have a lot of wasted space, so I always end up deleting these extra lines.

I looked around and could find no option with this, and confirmed with Airmail support that this is not a configurable option. It would be very nice to have a configuration option to control how many…

  2. Port the reader view from Apple Mail to Airmail.

Apple's Mail has the possibility of sending the reader view from a link out of Safari. Airmail is capable of sending the link directly from Safari which is already a great feature but it would be much better if it could also send the reader view from Safari directly from the composer as Apple Mail does.

  3. Quick bullet lists

It would be great to be able to start a bullet list by typing one of the key characters at the start of a new line e.g.
Type "1." to start a numbered list
Type "a)" to start a letter list
Type "* " to start a circle bullet list
Type "- " to start a dash list

  4. Set color for recipient names based on domain in Composer

(Existing mac os mail feature). There are scary stories about people accidently putting external recipients on CC of [top scret] internal emails. Also, never want to send confidential customer info to a wrong person because of autosuggestion typo for CCed name.

I'd like to configure recepient names colors in Composer by domain. Say, use blue for colleagues from my company, red for customer A, green for customer B and, say, brown for all other recipients. Being able to visually check the recipients removes a big part of email anxiety!

  5. reply to html email embeds local paths

I've got plain text outbound emails. When I reply to an html email with attachments, I get quoted text like this:

    [file:///Users/ari/Library/Group Containers/2E337YPCZY.airmail/Library/Application Support/it.bloop.airmail2/Airmail/General/Local/1513579233195297024/Attachments/image001.png@01D37821.E689F0D0]

Clearly these local paths should not be exposed to other users. Either give me the option to send as html or just strip inline attachments.

  6. Warning when sending from wrong account

It would be nice to have a warning (ie. mark recipient in red) when the domain of the recipient doesn't match any domain bound to an account.
    (Postbox feature)
This will preserve people from sending business mail from a private account or vice versa.

  7. Default Account by Receipient

Presently when composing an email you always have to remember to set the Account (to send).

However, it would be beneficial if Airmail noticed that I always use certain accounts to email certain people. That way it would automatically set the right account based on the first recipient specified on the email.

  8. reply all

Reply All should not include MY email address in the "To" field. Other email clients do not do this, and it causes a "Sent and Archived" email to pop back in my inbox against almost immediately.

  9. Bug when composing quick reply email sends it to yourself instead of recipient

If you use a quick reply function (press the little chat bubble) and you where the last person who communicated as in this is your second reply to a person then the email gets composed to yourself instead of the recipient.

Pressing the window icon to make the window pop out into a normal reply fixes the issue

  10. Bring back tabbed "compose" windows

AirMail used to allow you to have multiple messages you were composing be in the same window, just tabbed, much like MacOS Sierra works in Finder. The feature was removed a few months ago. Can it be brought back? Very helpful when composing multiple messages at once.

  11. Bulleted List Issue

When you are doing a bulleted List - the Tab key should move in the bullet - not add a Tabbed Space next to the bullet.

  13. Marking line as bullet in composer behaving strangely

Editing bullets when I write e-mails acts strangely. For instance:

    1) write a line of text,
    2) press return,
    3) mark the new line as bullet

Now watch how a NEW line break/carriage return is inserted and the bullet is inserted in the new, second line. As I see it, the bullet command should be applied to the line where the cursor is located, not add a new line and then create a bullet.

  14. Airmail crashes when entering emojis macOS Sierra

    Airmail 3
    Version 3.0.2 (382)
    with macOS Sierra 10.12 (16A323)

    to reproduce bug:
    * have airmail open for a while
    * write message (new or reply)
    * use keyboard shortcut for entering emojis: (ctrl + cmd + space)
    * then airmail crashes
    * bug reports send to Apple & Airmail
    * restart Airmail
    * try again, now entering emoji works

The bug seems to be reported here as well: http://feedback.airmailapp.com/forums/274948-airmail-mac-3-x/suggestions/15306672-emoji-s

  15. Bullets and numbering

So this is very frustrating as one would assume this should be covered as a basic feature.

Numbering gets very frustrating when, for example, I try to add an image (another frustrating thing with resizing) between two points. Numbering just don't give a damn and starts all over again in 1. and no option to continue previous numbering whatsoever. I haven't found a workaround, so I'm basically screwed there.

Bullets are so confusing. Why is there two identical bullets on the dropdown list option? Why is the first one automatically checked by default? Why does inserting bullet automatically does a…

  18. No reply reminders for outgoing emails

Similar to how Sanebox does it, I would like to be able to snooze an outgoing email unless it receives a reply. I.e. I can set when I need a response by - e.g. 1 week - and if I don't receive a reply by that day the email is returned to my inbox with 'no reply' label. If they do reply before then then the reminder is removed.

  19. Confirm send & No attachment

I often compose a large business mail which is important and I alter and extend the content multiple times. And it happened to me multiple times, that I accidentally send the mail before it was finished. It would be great if there's an option which we can active for every mail, that when I hit the send button, a confirmation window shows up if we are sure, that the mail should be sent out.

Also, I often write in mails "I've attached you the document in this mail" etc. and then forget to add the attachment, please implement something like…

  20. Support for Century Gothic

I was very happy to see that Airmail allows you to set different fonts for different email accounts, something I've been looking for for a while now, but one of the accounts I use needs Century Gothic, and I can't see this in the list of available fonts.

How can you include this, and other fonts? Thank you.
