Tab Key functionality - Composing
I'm really used to use the tab key when composing a new e-Mail for switching fields from To:, Cc, Subject ... actually after entering my mail subject hitting Tab Key should bringt me to the main message composer window - not in Airmail. Thekey continues with switching through all format options like bold, inveter, font style etc..
Sorry guys as a customer of your software I'm really wondering if you ever tested it toroughly also with users that are mainly using a mail client bound to their keyboard.
Please fix this, as it is just one of many little flaws…

Paste as plain text
We need "Paste as plain text" when you right click inside the composer body window.

Signatures
Give a choice of automatically not including a signature for forwarded emails as well as replies.
The lack of choice here is surprising. Its also common practice to include a signature (with a corporate logo) on new emails. To include such a signature in a forwarded email looks tacky

address book
If i have 2 accounts set up, when composing an email from account A, I the to: field should not autocomplete with suggestions from Account B. At the very least, I should be able to disable this functionality. The practical application of this is if account A is a work account and account B is a personal account, when I start composing an email for work, I shouldn't get contact suggestions of my personal contacts.

Text Sources (Templates)
Create and save pre-defined text sources (templates), that are used very often and can be pasted in any e-mail by choosing from a menu or some kind of shortcut. This would be a very powerful function for business man, who have to write the same text passages over and over again.

Different signatures for different recipients
This solution I had in "The Bat" for Windows.
When you type a recipient in TO: field, the signature changes based upon recipient email.
You can define different signatures and connect them with different recipients and they are applied automatically.
So you can define different signature for your friends, different for business partners and different for your mom :)
And then you don't need to switch them manually so it saves time.
The Bat had it like 10 years ago :)

Default Account for Reply when multiple accounts feed into the same inbox
Airmail 3.0.1 provides the option to use the selected account as the default reply account. Unfortunately, this option does not work adequately with forwarded email.
For example: I have multiple email accounts (hypothetically, bob@gmail.com and steve@gmail.com) that are forwarded to one address (again hypothetically, everything@gmail.com); i.e., all of my emails to the various accounts are redirected to everything@gmail.com's inbox. Now, if I want to reply to an email that was sent to bob@gmail.com, I want to use bob@gmail.com as the default sender; unfortunately, because the email is sitting in everything@gmail.com's inbox, Airmail selects everything@gmail.com as…

Send Later support on per email basis
Would love to be able individually select a time to delay an email on a per email basis. Seems like it could be easily done with a small triangle drop down on the 'Send' button.

Custom colors in fonts and background in composer mode
I like the lower contrast in Markdown mode. It would be great if we could change background color other than white and of course font color.

Preference to turn off signature sync
Currently with Preferences sync turned on the signature for a single account becomes consistent across clients. This is not necessarily the desired behaviour. For my Gmail account, on my Mac I like to have the full signature while on the iPhone I like the usual 'sent from my iPhone'. This is not possible in the current implementation and I have to change the signature each time which is highly annoying.

Remove RGB coloring to every paragraph
When we convert e-mails to Atlassian JIRA issue comments, these are simply unreadable.

In sent items I can not see my bcc recipients. This is a major flaw.

Ability to set default font for markdown output
So, even if I have my default font set on an account basis at Account -> Composer, if I compose a mail using markdown, the markdown output is always Helvetica.
Another thing is, if you start your composer in Markdown as a default, the generated HTML already includes the font-family Helvetica. So the default font doesn't even get applied.

Better Markdown support
Better support for Markdown. For example, the current version of Airmail reformats text, even in Markdown, even in between ``. For example, Airmail always replaces -- with a single –, even with OS autocorrect off.

Reply/Reply All behavior
Apple Mail has a cool trick with the Reply/Reply All keyboard shortcuts. If I tap Cmd-R to open a reply window and then change my mind, deciding I need to Reply All, all I have to do is tap Cmd-Shift-R, and the open message is populated with all the other recipients. The reverse also works, if I inadvertently Reply All, I can use Cmd-R to switch to just the one sender as recipient. I would love it if Airmail 2 could do the same thing.

Add labels to a newly composed message
When I'm creating a new message, I would like to be able to assign it a label in the composer window. Currently I have to send the message, and then go into the Sent Mail folder to apply the label.

Exchange email groups support (lack thereof)
I am using Airmail 2 v2.5.5 (335) with an Exchange account and the account composer Global Address List feature enabled. When composing an email and address it to recipients, individuals can be searched and found; however, public email groups (distribution lists) are not found and resolved. Is there a limitation in this area?

dropdown compose window
Would be great if there was an option to have the compose window drop down from main window instead of pop out...Like the quick replies does.
