Default Account by Receipient
Presently when composing an email you always have to remember to set the Account (to send).
However, it would be beneficial if Airmail noticed that I always use certain accounts to email certain people. That way it would automatically set the right account based on the first recipient specified on the email.

"select all"
Select All - delete
When you select all and press delete in a message you are replying to - it will delete all the text but leaves one level of indentation. Im not sure this is what you want it to do.
Thanks!

Please add a way to remove signature icon
I have a few issues with the signature selection icon/button
Personally I set my signature once and don't change it afterwards (actually I don't use a signature at all)
The icon reminds me of those old-school creepy masks (see attachment)
It just clutters an otherwise very clean minimalistic interface for the people that do not use this feature
Thanks!

Marking line as bullet in composer behaving strangely
Editing bullets when I write e-mails acts strangely. For instance:
1) write a line of text,
2) press return,
3) mark the new line as bulletNow watch how a NEW line break/carriage return is inserted and the bullet is inserted in the new, second line. As I see it, the bullet command should be applied to the line where the cursor is located, not add a new line and then create a bullet.

Airmail Mac 2.6 Composer Does Not Work With Garmmarian
Native Mac mail composer works great with Interactive Grammarian speller and grammar check. But Airmail's mail composer (all versions including the latest 2.6.x) does not work with Grammarian interactive features. Sometimes, the focus of mail composer shifts and takes me away and out of the composer window where I am typing mail. Because of these two, I tend to go back to the native Mac mail. Airmail is a great program and I hope these two issues can be fixed so I can continue using it. I am using both iMacs and a Mac Book pro laptop under El-Capitan OS.…

Base 64 encoded images in signature
At the moment I can only drag images into the signature composer and hope Airmail does everything correct with them (which in most cases it doesn't).
I have standard HTML mail signatures with base64 encoded images for all my accounts, but pasting them in the HTML of the signature composer still interprets them as text.1 vote -
When clicking on an email link within Airmail then shouldn't the cursor jump to subject entry?
When clicking on an email link within Airmail then the cursor jumps to the composer window. Shouldn't it head to the subject field first? Like when you do "New message"?

So the problem I am having is everytime I input a Alias in Airmail 2.0 and save it, when I try and use it or go back into settings its not there. I have tried multiple times to get it to work but everytime it fails. I have tried this on multiple computers and it wont work. Airmail IOS came out today and finally was able to add it and it synced over to my mac. Please let me know what i need to do to make it work on my mac. Thanks

Quick reply usability
I was replying to a critical business email with quick reply (UI attached). Note that in the "To:" it reads the name of one single individual.
After clicking Send and Archive, however, I saw that the email was addressed to both Mike and everyone on the CC list.
This was unexpected, and mortifying.
Whenever I am composing a Quick Reply, I expect that exactly who I see in the recipient list is exactly who receives the email—no more or no less.

Press enter to jump to subject area after entering recipient, press enter again to jump to message composition field
Quickly jump from entering the recipient to the subject line by pressing enter (ignoring CC, BCC), then press enter again to jump to message composition area.

Exchange email groups support (lack thereof)
I am using Airmail 2 v2.5.5 (335) with an Exchange account and the account composer Global Address List feature enabled. When composing an email and address it to recipients, individuals can be searched and found; however, public email groups (distribution lists) are not found and resolved. Is there a limitation in this area?

Better Markdown support
Better support for Markdown. For example, the current version of Airmail reformats text, even in Markdown, even in between ``. For example, Airmail always replaces -- with a single –, even with OS autocorrect off.

select one email in a thread to reply to without opening a new window
current behavior does not expand a thread inside the inbox so I can pick the email i wish to reply to. I want to see that thread inside the inbox like Gmail so i can reply.
Right now I have "open" the thread in a separate window then scroll to find it, and another window opens again to finish the reply. Seems unnecessary to me.

address book
If i have 2 accounts set up, when composing an email from account A, I the to: field should not autocomplete with suggestions from Account B. At the very least, I should be able to disable this functionality. The practical application of this is if account A is a work account and account B is a personal account, when I start composing an email for work, I shouldn't get contact suggestions of my personal contacts.
