How can we improve Airmail?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.
  • You can remove your votes from an open idea you support.

  1. Replying to snoozed emails shows the last email timestamp as the time it was snoozed instead of the time it was sent

  2. Show entire emails that are forwarded

    When I forward or reply certain messages, it isn't including the full body of prior emails.
    1. I sent an email to a vendor
    2. I tried forwarding/replying all on the sent email, and it doesn't include my full message, just On February 16, 2016 at 4:04:42 PM, Name (email) wrote:

  3. Need a popup window when email isn't sent.

    Several times now I've had problems sending mail due to one reason or another. But instead of giving me a popup window letting me know there's a problem, outgoing emails quietly get dumped in the drafts folder. A simple popup warning window would be next to life changing.

  4. Gmail Alias

    I use a gmail alias to send email, but each time the email is received by a Windows Outlook client the receiver has a kind of a loading bar and can see the original gmail address connected to the alias.
    I don't have the same issue using Apple Mail or the Airmail 2 iOS client.

  5. Support the "Send mail as" Function in Gmail

    Dear Airmail Team,
    I redirected all my school emails to my Gmail account and use the "Send mail as" function to send/reply school emails through Gmail. It would be great if Airmail supports this function.
    I remember the old version once supported this function.

    p.s. I was told that adding alies in Airmail can do the same. But it would be great if Airmail will directly support this function.

  6. GPG Plugin does not ask for passphrase

    I just installed the GPG plugin and it seems to work since the buttons encrypt/sign show up and turn green when I add recipients where I have the keys stored in my keychain.
    I don't have my key's passphrase stored in my Mac's keychain and expect the application to pass the passphrase request along to the GPG keychain tool as the Mail plugin does.

  7. Pressing "send and achieve" should animate the email to the right, as usual

    When pressing "send and achieve" the mail in list view animates to the right, which is usually the way that emails go when deleted. This is confusing behaviour. Also it should turn blue. In other words; just animate it as it would be animated if it was swiped.

  8. there is a problem after El Caiptan instalation. Black picture after pushing the button send. hot to improve it?

    After instalation of new system I see a problem with black screen on front. This happen when you write message as a full screen and push the button send. Balck screen will be up to the moment of sending the message. Please help in this matter.
