Ability to accept meeting invitations and add to iOS calendar
Currently meeting invitations show an attached VCS or iCal file that can be viewed but the user can't accept the meeting invitation.
In apps like Spark or EasilyDo, the app gives accept/decline options and then adds the details to the iOS calendar.
Please add the ability to accept/decline meeting invitations as is present in other iOS mail apps.

Is there a solution to this yet? I am considering going to another client because of this...

This functionality still hasn’t been added. Frustrating.

This is the best mail app around but this makes it a bit of deal-breaker for me...

A very important feature -simple to implement apparently- not available in iOS Airmail, incredible!

This is ridiculous - major gap or defect.

I actually do not want it to send the accept request to the organizer...I can't figure out how to turn that off! I currently go into Outlook to accept or decline appointments so I can choose whether to send a response or not.

Still doesn't work in Airmail for iOS as of today (October 11, 2017). This is a deal-breaker for me–if I have to switch apps to accept an invitation, I might as well just use the other app. Definitely a defect.

I find this incredibly frustrating as the app presents calendar invitations and prompts you to act.
When you do, you can expect it to send your response to the organiser but it doesn't.
This is a defect not a feature request as far as I can see.
