I think it would have to be customizable to an extent, that way you can please everyone

I'd love to see this feature now that widgets are more prominent in iOS 10. Instead of just the todo area, I'd like to see the top 3-5 emails in a particular inbox.

A today widget especially with iOS 10, would be so damn amazing, a floating window to access all the mails, 3D Touch it and bam, you're in the app. It's a must have feature, imho

The best option would be a customizable widget. For example, it could display the chosen number of recent emails, and have a two line preview of each, with three user-selected actions (ex. Archive, Star, Trash)

Or your snoozed mail, or arbitrary folders
