  1. Disable animations or increase timing

    Current animation after trashing / archiving a message make the app feel slow. Suggest an option to disable transitional animations altogether, or increasing the speed of animations.

  2. Bring back READ RECEIPTS function

    As it was before may 11, bring back the read receipt that you can choose to set inside the new email you are composing.
    The function has been removed but it still is important in some cases.

  3. conversation collapse

    Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but I can't see how to collapse an email in a conversation. In the Mac app (version 3.0) I can click on the header and it collapses an individual email in a conversation. In the iOS app I can expand an email in a conversation by clicking the header, I can't collapse it again. This makes navigating conversations very difficult.

    Overall, conversations are handled better in the latest Mac app.

  4. Send attachments from Dropbox one drive etc as links instead of as files

    When composing an email and attaching files from storage services like Dropbox or onedrive, allow the user to select if they want to send this file as an attachment embed in the email or as link so that the recipient may download the file. This is particularly useful when the file stored on Dropbox is too big to be an email attachment

  5. SMIME

    I use the SMIME feature on the Airmail for macOS to digitally sign and or encrypt my messages, and it works great. I'd really like to see this feature brought to the iOS app as well.

  6. Exchange Shared Mailboxes Support

    This is essential for business exchange usage, and is something the official Outlook app does not yet support so would be a great way to sell Airmail to businesses!

  8. Close pictures by pulling up or down (See Mailbox)

    Also it would be awesome to open all pictures at once (to be able to swipe right-left for next picture) and not close and open next ones.

  10. Change account based on who you are sending to (email address history).

    There are some existing ideas that come close to this idea, but not exactly. I would like the account I am sending from to automatically switch based on who I am sending my email to. For example, if I am sending an email to my friend Dan (dan@gmail.com), I want it to be sent from my personal Gmail account. If I am sending an email to a partner or employee, I want the email to be sent from my business account.

  13. Use date format DD/MM/YY

    I see no way to make the date format in the Way of DD MM YY. It shows as the US method of MM DD YY which is actually confusing for us in other countries around the world that use another format.

    This is particularly true for the message list.

  14. Offline Sync

    Offline mode for iPhone that syncs changes as soon as a connection is made again. I regularly travel via plane & try to use this time to get to inbox zero, but archiving/deleting doesn't take effect once I reconnect.

    Great that you restored push to those of us who had paid for the app before. The annoying green subscription button that hangs over my inbox, should be removed.

    It is taking up screen space. It’s better if that is a one time notification, and users can find Premium in settings if they want

  17. Change the avatar icon

    Sometimes the app don't recognize the photos from my contacts. In the Mac app I can change the Icon with a right click, in iOS not. And it also don't snychronize the Icons between MAc and iOS.

    In most cases not all (gmail) labels are shown in the iOS app. Maybe due to space?

  20. Sync label colors with gmail

    For a gmail account option to have label colors match the colors that are setup in the gmail account - for example, I have a label in gmail called "Financial" and it is set to a green color. It would be nice if that label was also automatically colored green in the app.
